People, most of your fanatical answers regarding God and religions sound like the maniacal confessions of a brainwashed mentally disturbed person. Are you ok? Don´t you think you take religion and Jesus too litereraly?

I'm stuck working the night of the Halloween parade here in town, and the parade goes right past where we work, so buisness will be booming that night. I got permission to dress up, and would like to make it fun for the kids. I have to have something that is easy to move around in, so nothing made out of boxes, or nothing that sticks way out. Also something cheap and easy, since I work 6 days a week, I don't have much time.

to those of you that argue that the theory of gravity isn't a theory ,keep in mind that there are clusters of stars in the universe that move in ways gravity can't explain.

I have an old friend who fills my inbox with junk email everyday. I haven't received a real email from her in months. It's getting really annoying...I have tried referring her to snopes.com, and emailing her when she I see she is online to let her know how I'm doing, hoping for a real response. And so far, no response, just more chain letters and cheesy forwards. I don't want to hurt this person's feelings, but on the other hand, I find it really rude that she can find the time to send out all this crap, but can't take 10 seconds to say hello. Any suggestions?

I am looking at serious answers please.. I am interested in people's percecptions of Muslims.. (and particulary Muslim women)



Two years ago if you saw me..you would have seen a young woman in jeans and a t-shirt etc..
Now if you see me you see a young woman in a hijab ...

Do you think of me differently now.. How I have changed in these 2 years..Have I lost some brain cells?? Am I now a terrorist?? Am I now a downtrodden woman?



(My life has not changed since becoming a Muslim ..and neither do I think my personality has..
I still work, and travel alot.. though I will no longer visit a pub..
Though interestingly..I now feel a greater identification with my country England. Before I was a Muslim because I was an etnhnic minority I did not feel very close to my country.
I have also got more friends from different religions such as Judaism and Christianity because now I can understand religious people and before as an atheist I did not)
