Karl Marx said religion is opium. the drug addicts don't know what they are doing. as the basic tenets of all religions are dogmatic and any person who questions the rationality of the doctrines of any religion is called names like kafirs, infidels and naastiks(atheists). every religious head believes that only the followers of his religion are entitled to get berths in heaven and can enjoy the company of either 72 virgins or DIVINE PROSTITUTES LIKE RAMBHA, URVASI OR TILOTTAMA(Hindus believe) after death and people belonging to other religions are sinners and go to hell. the believers of religion lack tolerance towards other religion and i observed people spewing venom against other religions.

What is unbelievable is that a person would call a calm answer maniacal confessions of brainwashed mentally disturbed People.
Ask a question, expect an answer. Not just "yea....your absolutely right"
It is your brain that is challenged here. It seems that the subject matter is a little out of your league. Maybe try the computer forums. Have a nice day.

so u r taking the marxist appraoch to religion!!!
the reson u find ppl depending a lot on religion is not coz the r insane, but coz it is the easy to use religion to explain the inexplainable. it is a refuge of the weak, and a explanation of the strength of the strong. whn u cannot expalin y things go wrong, or y u achieve the success u do, u look to religion.
it is something only humans can do.

In our religion-infused society, most people seldom encounter any challenge to what they've been taught to believe. Then when such a challenge comes along, it threatens everything they "know" to be true. That's why they get angry and, sometimes, say things that they may not completely mean -- because they're afraid.
Anger is fear -- every time. So the question to ask yourself is: Just what are they afraid of?

Diversity is the spice of life! Think how horribly boring your life would be if you didn't have all of us to laugh at or cringe over?
I love this world we live in because of it's ability to cast two trillion (Rough count mind you) different differences. I realize the last two words are a kind of double negative but had to use them!
Why would you want everyone to think the same way or act the same way or dress like you or walk like you or talk like you? Get the picture.
There is only one thing in this world I would want to change and that would be violence! When someone figures this one out they will be loved, loved, loved!
Have a wonderfully diverse day!

Am I a follower of Jesus Christ? Your darn right I am, after all that He has done and is doing for me. I would rather be a janitor in the Kingdom of Heaven then among the rich of this world. Does that mean I get caught up in emotionalism, like those of the G12 movement, no. It doesn't mean I bark like a dog or any nonsense like that. I will follow the Lord my God and praise Him as long as I have breath, like Job said " though He slay me, yet will I trust Him."

Most religious nuts think they know the answer and then look for evidence to support their thinking. It should be the other way around. Look at the evidence and make an informed belief. But people are scared of Hell, so they "worship" a certain way as "fire insurance".

I couldn't have said it better myself. What really kills me is that in the name of religion, they press the "report abuse" button because they don't agree. These are the same people who preach all of this holy roller stuff. They go on and on and on about love and faith, yet are the first ones to gang up someone and oust them. I'm with you, they are a bit touched.

It is of our choosing. You may live your life as you wish. It is your choice. God loves you anyway. Are Christians insane by wishing to help others? Why are you so offended because of the Christian religion?

Yes, now you got it! Posters are either ridiculous funny or too serious--either way it's a telling profile of America (who are the majority in here). Sad isn't it, and I fit right in. Except for you because you're normal.
Why Be Normal?

I swear, my brain melts a little every time I see someone use the phrase "My religion is the correct one," "Your religion is wrong," or my favorite, "Your god is retarded" (yeah, I actually saw someone say that on here before).
