I'm Gay and the only reason Bush won the 2nd term is because of Gay Marriage. You conservatives eleceted him to prevent Gay Marriage, which means you elected him to KILL AND HAVE MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS MURDERED IN AN EVIL LAND OF MUSLIMS, I hope you can live with you decision, you hate of Gays have KILLED thousands of young men and women. I am a Marine I spent 4 years in the Marine Corp. My Father is a Pentecostal Preacher. I'm an american, and I happen to be gay. Why do you support a Leader (Bush) that uses Ones Sexuality as a reason to rule our Land. Are you Happy with your decision to elect him and have our Brothers and Sisters Slaughter or will you continue to Support Him based on your hatred against Gays?

I have read the four gospels, more than once! I have never found a line where Jesus said PRAISE ME. Everywhere I've looked he gave all Power, Glory and Honor to His Father God In Heaven! So where is the basis for Praise Jesus when his teachings show differently?

I would say I am Christian, in a generic sense, seeing I claim no denomination. If I drew a circle 2mi around my home there would have to be no less than 2 dozen churches from big sprawling campuses, to small store front churches. We are talking at least a couple of thousand pew sitters. Yet many are not very Jesus like. When it comes to compassion and forgiveness for the worse of society; murders, sexual resgistrant, dope fiends, prostitutes, etc. Many are like "Get them the heck away from me. Lock them up or drive them away" Jesus came for just these type of people. So, people attending church but not taking to heart the spirit of its founder making those looking from the outside in see them as hypocrites?

Why is it considered wrong to question things that have to do with faith?
It seems a poor excuse to say that you must just believe, but not required that of anything else in your life.

If "religious form" couldn't prepare the pharisees for God, why do we lean on it so heavily today? Where is it leading us? Is there any way out?

Peace for all mankind
Equality for all sexual orientation
Healthcare for everyone
Equal opportunity in the workplace
A real world economy.
In other words most of us believe in YOU. We want you to thrive, the planet to thrive and for everyone to live in peace.
I guess that makes us BAD, cuz we don't believe in God.
I guess that makes us BAD cuz we don't want WAR.
I guess that makes us BAD cuz we don' want Religion in our schools.
I guess that makes us BAD cuz we want our children to have a great education.
I guess that makes us BAD cuz we want rational thought to override superstition.

When people strictly practice a religion, they can sometimes be narrow minded, a little self-righteous, proudly ignorant of other points of view, and close-minded. When people strongly adhere to a scientific discipline, do they sometimes exhibit similar traits?

Was his name symbolic of the tribe of Judah? Did Jesus know from the very beginning that Judas would betray him, or did he have a shortlist (i.e. Peter, Judas, Matthew)? Perhaps I am being too introspective, but the average Christian reminds me more of Pontius Pilate and Paul (before his conversion) than those post-resurection guys. Wasn't Judas' confession of sin and acknowledgement of his betrayal enough for a quick trip to heaven? If not, what hope do the rest of us have?

Is this is your God?

how about worshiping the God who created you and created Jesus inside his mother womb instead? why do you hide the truth and you are well aware of it? the one who created this whole universal. To Him belong all what's between the heavens and the earth.

Of course, we know that there is much more to it than that. Jesus' command to the Apostles is to go out and teach as well as baptize "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." Here we have God revealing Himself as a communion of three divine Persons. Here we have God sharing with us the truth about Himself, revealing to us His real identity.

In the words of Pope John Paul II, "God in His deepest mystery is not a solitude, but a family, since He has in Himself fatherhood, sonship, and the essence of the family, which is love."

We might ask ourselves: What difference does the mystery of the Trinity make? It makes a big difference.

For one thing, we cannot love what we do not know. We do not make complete gifts of ourselves to total strangers. (Ask someone to marry a complete stranger and see how well that works.) God allows us to know Him intimately as He is — one God in three divine Persons. He reveals Himself to us as a divine family. In fact, He goes even further. He loves us so much, He invites us to be a part of that family. Just last week we celebrated Pentecost, recalling how the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles in the Upper Room. In our Baptism, we too were sealed with the Spirit. By virtue of our Baptism we are brothers and sisters in Christ, and we can dare to call God "Abba" or Father. This means a Christian can never claim to be all alone in this world. We are part of a divine family.

Second, we are made in the image and likeness of God. We know that God is a communion of Persons. We who are made in His image and likeness are likewise made to be in relationship with God and with others. We are made to be communal beings. It is impossible for us to live in total isolation without doing some grave harm to our very being. We are made and meant to live for others. That is the nature of love and the nature of the God Who formed us in His image.
