If "religious form" couldn't prepare the pharisees for God, why do we lean on it so heavily today? Where is it leading us? Is there any way out?

Look directly to God not to the priests or pharasies and yes I think its the down troden (sinners) who know they need forgiveness to many others claim the dont (need God)

This question was left hanging in my sixth grade religion class. Sister Ann Leonard was a bit peeved by the fact that her little charges weren't impressed by the majesty and infrastructural bureaurocracy of the Church, and that we would much rather have gone outside to play than study hierarchies, lists of popes, antipopes, litanies of saints, etc. When one of us called her on the carpet about this, stating that the story had Jesus using a whip to put the moneychangers out of the forecourt of the Temple as well as all his difficulties with the equivalents of the bishops and cardinals of his day, she got downright hostile and even cancelled our scheduled recess time.
So the answer is, that if there ever was a Jesus, he was rejected by the Establishment according to the tales in the bible. If there ever will be a Jesus (either first or second coming) he (or she) will most certainly be rejected by everyone on the planet except a few aboriginal people not yet corrupted by organized religion.
Oh well . . .

those with much forgiven have much to be thankful for. These lucky, poor people, they grew up without war, without terror but with comforts and instant meals. I see don't you complacency, they have grown so accustomed to this easy life that they think they don't need god. History repeats itself for after the parting of the red sea the Jews still tested god, what became of them? by the time these people get their sign it will be too late, blessed are those who have not seen and believed. For the first shall be last and the last first, is it we are the last?
Want freedom from the religious, then open your bible and read, then take all that you have read and apply it. Then the lord our God will guide you to a ministry which teaches only his word. the sword which pierces the heart and soul shall with full force tear your life apart and make you a worthy vessel for his glory.

According to all that I have heard, the second coming of Christ is going to be very different. He will NOT be as he was. Jesus will take either the righteous to their reward or the sinners to hell. Jesus will set upon the task assigned of ending the time allotted by GOD, according to his plan.
No one knows when this will happen, either, so we live as it will happen very soon, as a precaution.
There is no way out when Jesus second coming starts, as according to people that study this, time will have run out for this experiment/idea.

If Jesus existed in these days and times teaching freedom justice equality love peace happiness to the average day to day religious people Jews,Christians,Muslims and 9 to 5er's would just see him as some self righteous street evangelist and probably ignore him and continue on with their day. Just like the millions of righteous people who speak the truth of God everyday in this blind world.

i think Jesus would be nuclear bombed if he appeared here and its sad and god would be cursed and lab tested for proof of he's is god and not Jesus child they would kill the both of them! god would be crucified if he said he was not Jesus and it would be one hot mess here and you and i know it!
i speak of the west not of the east for they are much brighter religion scholars and fully understand!
You see if either were to come and we were to witness this it would be a disaster because both would be considered an alien from out of space and the first thing that would happen is to rid it to whip it out and to cease any harm surely the both of them were accuse to be bringing and power! now you know the mighty must prove they can handle any unsettling situation that would arise anytime anywhere!

I just got off the phone with Jesus. He said to pick him up at the airport with a car full of prostitutes and lots of booze. He also told me he hates Christians.
