Except atheists don't worship money. They don't worship anything. They may cherish and love things, just like the rest of you, but they don't worship.
If this is about atheists trying to get "In God We Trust" off of money, atheists aren't the only ones the phrase discriminates against. Buddhism is non-theistic, and Hinduism is polytheistic "In The Gods We Trust?". Taking the phrase off money doesn't mean atheists are discriminating against theists. If they going for "In No Gods We Trust" then that would be discrimination, but that's not what they're going for.
Christians are complaining about atheists being brats when they're bullying everyone else.
EDIT: and that money, guns, and drugs stuff is BS. Theists use those as much if not more than atheists. The overwhelming majority of people in prison are Christian, I know of Christians that use drugs, and encase you haven't noticed: promoting atheism and secularism isn't exactly a lucrative business, so it's hard to say how an atheist can worship money, especially given that it has "God" on it.
The closest you might come to atheists worshipping money are Bill Gates and Warren Buffett, who combined have donated over $60 billion to charity. *Talk to the hand.*

Absolutely not! Atheists don't worship anything. Not God, not money, nothing. Zero, zilch, nada. Atheists do not do "anything for a buck". If we do, then so does everyone else in the world who works for a living.
First off, you need to learn the very definition of the word athiesm. Let me make it easy for you, right from the recent edition of Webster's.
Atheism: n, from the Greek a-, without + theos, God. The belief that there is no God.
Where does it say in all of that that atheism has anything to do with money? Nothing at all.
Secondly, you need to learn the definition of a religion as well.
Religion: n, from the Latin religio, holiness. 1. a belief in and worship of God or gods. 2. a specific system of belief, worship, etc., often involving a code of ethics.
Both these words contradict each other. Atheists do not believe in God or anything else, nor do we have a specific system of belief or worship. We may have a code of ethics, but there isn't a single doctrine that every atheist prescribes themselves to, unlike Christians and other religions.
Thirdly, your little slogan there is highly offensive and mistaken. Atheists do not worship guns and money, let alone drugs. This is clearly the all too frequent Christian belief that if you don't have God, you're into all kinds of sinful vices of the worst sort which is untrue. Not every atheist is a gun-toting, drug-running, greedy overlord, just like not every Christian that I've met has been what anyone would call a TRUE Christian.
I'd like to point out that there are just as many Christian gun runners out there as there are atheistic ones, whether you choose to accept it or not. Drug addictions and violence and greed cross all walks of life, not just atheism. Christianity is by no means immune to corruption. Christians just tend to act like it.
Also, I see a lot more Christians in favor of gun laws than non-Christians. Even remotely hint at restricting gun use in this country and you'll find the fundamentalists right at the front of the line to protest their right to own a weapon. And for the record, owning a weapon is more than a right. It's a huge responsibility, one that I'm sad to say few are prepared for.

I dont know ask a atheist. But as far as I know atheists dont worship anything. After all that is what the term 'atheist' means. So maybe not even money, guns or drugs. Next time try being a little more polite and dont mock at anyone's personal preference.

Religion means belief in the Supernatural. So no, that is not their religion. That's like saying Bill Gates, because he makes so much money, must worship that money and therefore, computers are his religion. We can't change the meanings of words just to suit our tactics.
