I have read the four gospels, more than once! I have never found a line where Jesus said PRAISE ME. Everywhere I've looked he gave all Power, Glory and Honor to His Father God In Heaven! So where is the basis for Praise Jesus when his teachings show differently?

anytime we appreciate, find good in his actions, feel thankful for his unselfish acts, just generally love and appreciate him, we praise him. Yes JESUS did not tell us to praise him, but JESUS also did not tell us to praise our children or each other either, but we do to show how much we care and love each other. Good question, put it this way I don't think it is a bad thing to Praise the MAN that died for us! Have a great weekend and GOD bless you

The praise given by the angels attending the birth of Christ sets the standard for all that would come later.

Luk 2:9 And behold an angel of the Lord stood by them and the brightness of God shone round about them: and they feared with a great fear.
Luk 2:10 And the angel said to them: Fear not; for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy that shall be to all the people:
Luk 2:11 For, this day is born to you a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord, in the city of David.
Luk 2:12 And this shall be a sign unto you. You shall find the infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger.
========================
Luk 2:13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly army, praising God and saying:
Luk 2:14 Glory to God in the highest: and on earth peace to men of good will.
=========================
Luk 2:15 And it came to pass, after the angels departed from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another: Let us go over to Bethlehem and let us see this word that is come to pass, which the Lord hath shewed to us.

"I and the Father are ONE." ... Jesus Christ.

Revelation calls Jesus the Lamb 28 times. Rev.5, sings the "New Song" to the Lamb, and then it makes the 7 praises to the Lamb, symbol of perfection, and the 4 praises, symbol of totality. Let's praise the Lamb with Revelation:

"The four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

And they sang a new song: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth."

Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders.

In a loud voice they sang: "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!"

Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing: "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!"

The four living creatures said, "Amen," and the elders fell down and worshiped" (Rev.5:8-14).

Philippians 2:5-11:

In praising Jesus with the Bible, Paul teaches:

"Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-- even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father".
-Luke 1:42:

When Virgin Mary arrived to Elisabeth's house with Jesus in Her, Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and cried out with a loud voice the most intimate and poetic praise to Jesus in the Bible:
1- The most intimate, because the dearest praise you can make to a man is to tell him "blessed is your mother", and Elisabeth claimed, "your mother is the most blessed among women" (Lk.1:42).
2- And the most poetic, because then she adds, "and blessed is Jesus, the fruit of your womb", (Lk.1:42)

Hope that helps.

Shadow wings spoke well.

All knees will bend and acknowledge Jesus is the Christ, he deserves honor in the right amount for what he did, but he came to help us worship the Father.

"Glorify me alongside yourself with the glory I had alongside you before the world was." Jesus said.

He did that on the bypass. on the age of 33, Jesus become condemned to the death penalty. That become then the "worst" death. in basic terms the worst criminals have been sentenced to death like Jesus. And with Jesus issues have been worse, because of the fact not all of the criminals condemned to death won nails on their arms and feet. Nails... huge nails! each become 15 x 20 cm long, with a ingredient of 6 cm. yet another ingredient become sharp. The nails have been pushed into the pulses, and not into the arms, as we are familiar with listening to. interior the heartbeat, there's a tendon which extends to the shoulder, and whilst the nails have been being hammered, that tendon broke, obliging Jesus to toughen all of the muscular tissues of his lower back, so as that he ought to breath as He become dropping all of the air from his lungs. in this way, He become compelled to help Himself onto the nail carved into his feet, which become larger than those carved into his pulses, for the two feet have been carved mutually. And, as his feet ought to not undergo for an prolonged time without tearing, Jesus become compelled to alter that "cycle" so as that He ought to breathe. Jesus persevered that certainty over 3 hours. sure, over 3 hours! long term, isn't it? a jiffy in the past He died, Jesus become not bleeding anymore. He become in simple terms pouring water from his cuts and holes. as quickly as we predict of Him injured, we in basic terms image Him with injuries, yet His wounds have been genuine holes made into his physique. He had not greater blood to bleed, He in basic terms poured water. The human physique is composed of almost 3.5 liters of blood (for an person). Jesus poured out all 3.5 liters of his blood; He had 3 nails hammered into his contributors; a crown of thorns on his head and, previous that, a wound inflicted by utilising a Roman soldier who shoved a spear into his ingredient. All this without declaring the humiliation He exceeded after wearing his own bypass for almost 2 km, mutually as the gang spat on his face and threw stones (the bypass become in simple terms approximately 30 kg of weight, in basic terms for its larger area, the place his arms have been nailed). Jesus had to persevered all this so as which you're able to have unfastened get right of entry to to God. so as that your sins must be "washed" away. all of them, without exception!
