You Christians know how to word a question or request. Why dont you do it when it comes to God?

"god bless you" is a demand

If not, why dont you word it in another way?

Why do you use incorrect english when talking to god?
Does God understand ebonics better?

The correct way is "may god bless you", "please god bless this person",

I'm starting with the beginning, its amazing to me. I don't quite understand it all, the begats, the thee's, thou's. And where were the dinasours, in the first few days that god made the earth? Or did they really exsist, we only assume those bones were dinasours.

Are all Christians closed-minded? Are all atheists stupid? Are all Muslims terrorists? Are all Wiccans evil?

So many sweeping generalities here! I realize questioners make use of hyperbole to establish their points, but it is a dangerous concept. Many times those answering do not understand.

What are some generalizations you have seen made about members of your faith/belief that you would like to refute here and now?

they don;t even bring in enough money to pay their apportionments. Is this done regularly? I have been to that church many times even though I am an atheist, and see nothing wrong with it. At least nothing that a few coats of paint couldn't fix. What are they thinking?

You're all welcome to your own opinion, but in my family I'd have to say it's the men. My mum and my sister just zone out when watching telly and can't have a conversation at the same time. My mum is so bad at multi-tasking that if I ask her something when she's knitting, she doesn't even hear me! What do you all think? (I'm expecting to get more abusive messages than Denise Robertson for this one)

In East Asia, Mahayana Buddhism elaborated doctrines that served as a basis for war. In China, for example, the belief in a future Buddha led to various rebellions to secure the survival of peasant communities, and Buddhist millenarian cults periodically rebelled against the ruling dynasty. In Japan, Mahayana Buddhism accepted the samurai warrior and set the stage for political insurrection and a number of violent confrontations among competing sects.

I'm going to be 21 next month and still haven't told my mom that i'm gay yet. We have an ok relationship,we are simialar in many ways which cause us to bump heads alot. I've had bf's over with her there but never did anything with them more than kissing. But i felt wrong for doing it. She asked me plenty of times if im gay and i always deny it, but im sorta ready to tell her. So how do i come out to her without her feeling shamed, or feel as if she failed as a parent?
