Well, I have a really busy life, so I was just wondering... you know... if you have the time... would you like to get married later?

Back when I was in sales, I had a customer say "I don't want to think of you as just my sales rep, I want to think of you as a real woman," and proceed to explain what he would do with a "real woman". It was one of the worst lines I'd ever heard - and put me in a very awkward situation. Upside is that later he was fired for saying similar things to his own employees.

I used the one voted most likely to actually get a date out of the person you're using it on (mainly girls) (actually surveyed in Newsweek magazine)
"was your father a theif, because I think he stole the stars and put them in your eyes"

I don't use pickup lines, simply because any line you use is going to sound phoney and cheesey. I just let things happen as they may.

"If I can re-arrange the alphabet, I'd put U and I together."
"Yeah, and I'd put F and O together."
