You're all welcome to your own opinion, but in my family I'd have to say it's the men. My mum and my sister just zone out when watching telly and can't have a conversation at the same time. My mum is so bad at multi-tasking that if I ask her something when she's knitting, she doesn't even hear me! What do you all think? (I'm expecting to get more abusive messages than Denise Robertson for this one)

And don't forget, men can function in society whilst constantly thinking about sex - that's the ultimate in multi-tasking!

Currently I am playing on Yahoo! Answers, checking my emails, adjusting purchase orders at work, skyping one of my colleagues, buying stuff online and cruising through eBay. These are all being done at the same time, not one after the other. Cleaning your house and then doing the laundry is not multi-tasking, this is following a list and doing them one at a time. Now, if you were doing the laundry WHILE cleaning the house, making yourself a cup of tea, changing a babies nappy and watching Diagnosis: Murder, I'd count THAT as multi-tasking!

Well, apparently its supposed to be women, however, I have to disagree.

Most of the people I work with are women (over 30 y/o) and they only seem to be able to do one task at a time, which is a bloody nightmare. I personally have no trouble doing more than one task at once, as it makes life so much easier. When the women do tasks its seems to take so much more longer and not always of the same quality!

So, I agree with u, mate, its got to be MEN

I would have to say women. Not because i am one but because we take on most of the responsibility in the home.
Just cause you mom and sis zone out when they are watching tv doesn't mean that they cannot multi task. They are just really indulged in whatever they are doing.
For example, while having relations with her husband, a woman can think about what she is going to cook after for the family to eat, what she is going to wear for work tomorrow, what she is going to give the children to carry for lunch and still have a mind blowing orgasm.
What about being a mother a wife a friend to both her children, husband and her personal friends as well asbeing the boss on her job and a councillor to those in need.
If that is not multi tasking i do not know what is.

Women are far better at doing two or more different things at once while men are better at doing two or more similar things at once.
For example women can often do manual tasks while talking (although this is not always the case as with your mum's knitting) while a man can watch TV while reading a magazine and still follow the plot.

I personally think it depends on the individual, there are tons of men who are brilliant at multi tasking as there are women too, I can multi task with the best of them though I would actually say my husband is far better at multi tasking than me.

Women are as they're expected to care for a baby and make dinner for their husband too! Also clean house and do all the laundry! It's funny when someone comes to your house and it's messy the woman gets the blame and the man is scot free! Funny isn't it?

You got to be kidding me! - WOMEN!

Most women I know multi-task multi-tasking!!!

Where as, men, they spend far too much time thinking about MULTI-sex, this is what slows them down!

i think of the thought of ladies being extra perfect, or a minimum of predisposed to be extra perfect, at multitasking is using the unique gender function. you attempt to maintain a house sparkling and not burn something mutually as observing x sort of youngsters. How properly that interprets to outdoors the homemaker function varies by using the guy although.
