I, like a majority of other ex-associates of the Jehovah's Witnesses grew up as child into it. My mother forced me to be part of it, because the organization told her to do it. I don't blame her for being a puppet to the whims of the Society, nor do I blame any of the other puppets in the past and now who take part in it. The Watchtower Society has had trained experts skilled in the art of manipulation and mind control for generations. Almost no one is incapable of being charmed by the skills that they possess, especially if your going through a stressful or unfulfilled period in your life right now. My mother was one of those people. She died of cancer last year at age 57. Surely, I can't blame the Society for her infliction you might say? But in a small way, I do. Their teachings can be a great strain on a person's mind and body, especially if your trying to live up to their demands, expectations, and "future promises". I have a feeling I will always hate them for taking my mother.

But what is the difference between being selfish and being self absorbed?

there r few people, i have read,who have insulted gods.wwf few months ago made funny pictures of some gods.m f hussain(i just don't know how to cope wth this man) has a habit of insulting hindu gods & goddess. then he just apologises and again insults them.

Why is it that the word love is so abused? What is love! Is it just a word to be abused by love lorned teenagers and middle aged freaks? I don't believe that two people can be "In Love" Phooie I say.If you think that you love some one then you're a fool! You may care about some one very much but not love, no way! It's not in the human condition to love. We're mamals for crying out loud. Male lions may have a pride, but how many lionesses does the male lion have. Men pass on there genes to whom ever is willing to acceppt them. any one! I may be an insencitive jerk but I've been in this game for over 30 years. I think I know a little. So to all of theose people who think that I am after reading this, I don't care.

so once i believed Isaiah about the Messiah (52vs13-53vs12 He will be exaulted but first marred more than any man. He will lay down his life as an atonement for sins."
I believed and prayed-Messiah im sorry for my sins, come into my heart and save me, be my friend, amen " he floods me with joy and the word of heaven my home in my heart now.

what do u cling to for joy and hope of not going to hell???

I mean a generic word for such a creature.
Examples would be: centaur, harpy, sphinx etc.
I know there's a word - I found it in my thesaurus a while back, but can't remember how I got there, and can't find it again :-(

It's ok to use it to describe babies or kittens! But everything?

I was always told to think before I speak, not blurt out something impulsively because of the way I feel. I was also told that I have a brain and I should use it. I think my God is a god that appreciates someone who thinks. What do you think?

Does anyone know of a site where I can find teen costumes that don't look like hookers? My baby sis wants a halloween costume she's eleven and wears teen sizes. The costumes I found in stores and online are very revealing and not what she wants. She still wants to be cartoon characters and things like that! Does anyone know of a site?

A few years ago when i was 18 I inhereted 110 acres of woodland near to our family home, It consists of dense forest, a river and open fields. I never really bothered with it until last month I became a dad & regually walk through there with my son in his pushchair when we visit his gran.
When I go in there, there is often people (kids ect.) + there & tons of dog c**p everywhere. I cannot realistically fence it all off, however feel that it is a bit of a liberty when I see kids in there doing all sorts! -(by that I mean not what yoyu would want to see)
Any advice.
