In a legal human sense in this life (depending on the country you are in) there may in fact be a difference.

However, in a spiritual sense with God / Allah, there is NO difference.

In fact, Jesus stated in Matthew 5: 27 & 28 - "27 You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.' 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart."

Thus, both situations you raise are viewed as sin to God!

Then to only way out of this would be John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

It was the same thing. However, I think the "Putting away" went away for a while and when Henry VIII wanted to divorce, he had to start it all up again.

no. but in the bible the only reason you're allowed to divorce a spouse is infidelity. Which is the reason why most couples divorce anyway.

Sounds like pretty much the same thing to me.

If you put them away, it would appear reasonable to assume that their infidelities will continue as they are not getting what they need from you.

I don't understand what 'putting away' means. Do you view people as toys?
