religon seems to be a big mess as of lately.. most people seem to be choosing sides and such..

i'm not a very religous person at all.. spirtual maybe.. but not religous..
do you think religon will eventually save everyone..
or will it cause more chaos than it already has?

i'm going for the latter

I am 37. Have been in sales my whole adult life. I am pretty good at it. By some peoples accounts I am fantastic at it. I happen to HATE it!!! If I did not have to make a living, I would dedicate my life to helping others. For example, I have a vision of organizing and raising funds to feed and clothes people. Starting first in my immediate community and then expanding out into other communities in the world. There is no reason why ANYONE should go hungry or be without dignified clothing. BUT.....yeah, there goes that BUT again. But finding myself having to work all day to make a living does not allow me to do this.

Have any of you found yourselves in this dilema? What have you done about it? Any real, practical suggestions?

What is up with these young girls posting half naked pictures of themselves all over MySpace? They are like 19 years old have a picture of their clevage?!?! Isn't that just broadcasting that you are mearly a breathing blow-up doll? Do you really want to meet people who are attracted to that? What ever happened to personality, brains over beauty? It seems like someone representing the "good" Muslims should come forward and denounce the evil actions of the others, or are they to big of cowards? It's pretty bad if you are afraid of people in your own religion. I mean the fanaticals are giving this religion a bad name, it seems like this would anger someone enough to stand up and defend it, besides the sympathizer liberals of the United States.

I was raised as a Protestant but resented it and have not really practiced any religion since the age of 18. I now feel that I am being drawn back but have so many questions regarding the inconsistencies of the Bible and the Protestant religion (i.e. the versions of the Bible now actually being translations of men in power and fitting to their lifestyle). Where do I start to find my way back.
