well personally i think that religion will save everyone. in a beliver in God and i believe that God has His own time to deal with things that affect us on a personal level. You might be thinking that because maybe u had a bad experience (that is if u had) or u really have not listened to what God has to say though his word (no saying that u didnt just assuming) so a think u should try and find out the truth(read da bible) and talk 2 people that know better than i do

Hope is was some help 2 u

I am with you both on being religious and thinking that religion will ultimatley lead to the destruction of the human race. Actually I think it is past time that another species should get to take over. Humans have mucked things up enough. Give some other species a shot.

I am concerned about the trend toward extremely opinionated, intolerance to other views in religion. I think this will lead to more chaos and destruction. I think humans need to "evolve" in their understanding of the spiritual side of our nature. I think we need to be more accepting and tolerant of our differences and focus more on our many shared characteristics.

Religion is a hot box for trouble. A personal relationship with the risen savior is the answer to the worlds problems.

I believe if we live our religions it can only save us. The followers who are the ones causing the chaos.

Don't blame the religions. They are good guidelines in essence. It's the people's misinterpretation that causes all the chaos.

It depends on what you mean by "religion." Religion in the sense of man's attempts to try to reach God on our own will ultimately bring destruction because these attempts are false and come out of our own sinful nature.

Biblical Christianity is about God reaching down to us and providing a way for us to connect with Him, not by our own efforts, but by His love and grace. Christianity gets distorted when people ignore what the Bible teaches about grace and begin thinking up their own ideas of what it means to be "righteous" and "holy," ignoring what God has told us. This distortion, like all "religion" leads to prejudice, hatred, judgmental attitudes, divisiveness, malice, and things like trying to force people to convert or to conform. In the end, these things all lead to destruction.

True Biblical Christianity leads to things like kindness, compassion, understanding, unity, hope, peace, joy, and self-sacrifice. When these things are wide spread, they save us from destruction.

Ironically religion may destroy us all and at the same time save some of us.

Religion divides us as believers in God through Jesus. That is why it is important for everyone to read the Bible for themselves and pray for understanding so that they will not be led astray.
