Find a support group. There are many free support groups including on the internet (ex. YahooGroups). You can always check with Al-Anon is a possibility as well. Attending church always allows you to meet wonderful people and get also established in various support groups free of charge. As a last piece of comfort, considering other people's struggles and finding ways to volunteer to help others can help one to channel ones depression and convert it to it's opposite.

Well, sometimes depression is a problem with your brain, (doesn't mean you are crazy), my sister in law had the same problem, but our pastors told her to see a doctor, a psychiatrist, and after the test it appeared the she had a low chemical and produced the depression, 95% of the people have this problem and don't even knows it. My advice, see a doctor, and don't worry, God put them to help. This is real.

I will be more than glad to pray for you and I pray others will too. You are not alone and it is a horriable affliction. Have you gone to a medical doctor yet? They are doing studies on this right now and hopefully will have an answer soon.

Find a live support system. A counselor, priest, etc. Join some charitable groups. Its amazing how helping others makes you feel connected to the community.

here is the answer to your prayers God sent me to tell you this:
Or did you really want the answer? What is it you needed? Attention? To feel valuable again?
Why don't you feel valuable? Not doing things to create value in your life? Expecting people to value you simply because you exist?
We get depressed over contradictory messages that are playing in side our brains. peel back the layers of those messages find out what started them. Make it your #1 priority to untangle the irrationality. Be honest about your denials Accept the truth about who you are and why you believe what you believe about yourself. And begin there.
The belief in the supernatural is harming you in the big picture.
God is unknowable and to seek knowledge of the unknowable is insane. Focus on what is knowable like consequences and actions.

Often, keeping yourself busy and in touch with others can make a huge difference. join a support group, help out with your local charity, or find a study course to do with others. Regular excercise also helps maintain a healthy mind.

It is ok to feel sad as long as you dont make major life decisions while depressed. Sometimes we need to "feel" it out. I am sure whatever the root cause is, you will figure it out and make peace with it. It is true, you are never alone.
Take care

I struggled with depression also and I am better thanks to the Lord and christian counseling. You will get better, but it's one day at a time. You are not alone. I here for you, and God is with you also.
I will pray for you. . . .
