I know people hunk to let out road rage...but I occsionally got hunked when I jog or bike in my workout outfit...were they mad at me? because it sounded rude...luckily it does not happen every time though...

I was looking at 2 adoption web sites yesterday, Out of the 1000 kids that needed to be adopted, there was only 2 childern that it was because their parents had died. The other 998 kids was due to neglect and abuse. What is up with that people? Why have we become a society that throws their kids away? And what right do we have to tell other countries how to treat their people when this is what we do?

...of all their bad memories and experiences? So they can achieve perfect happiness.

As a thinking, logical being, would anyone actually want this to happen? I'm sure there are many things that we would like to forget about life, but wouldn't erasing 'bad' experiences cause us to lose our 'real' selves---we wouldn't be us now, would we?

for saving the damned in hell. Let us say that you are in Heaven and your God tells you that you can try to save 1,000 people that are in Hell, but you only have 1 in a 1000 chance of ever returning to heaven. If it were strangers would you do it? How about if it were people you know and love?

This has been bothering me ever since my father died in 1985. He died just a couple of hours after my birthday. That night, even though it was calm and quiet, I heard a kind of whistling noise outside the house. The atmosphere was heavy and sad; after we went away, then came back again several days later, the heaviness had lifted. Can anyone explain this for me, please?
