There are no such things as evil spirits. There are only spirits, and dead people are the same mix of good, bad and indifferent as living people are. The idea that ouija boards are evil is ridiculous, unless you're a frightened child of any age.

For facts on ouija boards:

Excerpt from the FAQ at above site:

a. We understand your position and recommend that you never use a Ouija board. We would never argue with you since we realize that the Ouija has a reputation to maintain.

q. My Ouija board has really been freaking me out! What should I do?

a. Well, you might want to stop using it! You shouldn't do anything that distresses you. I'm surprised that we have to tell you this.

q. The other night while using our Ouija, we were attacked by a Class 5 low level elemental. Or maybe it was an astral corpse or semi-animated shell waiting to dissolve. After threatening us, it made scary noises and made the planchette fly around the room. What should we do if this happens again?

a. Call 911? You're joking, right?

q. What is the proper way to dispose of my Ouija board? Should I break it into seven pieces, say the Lord's Prayer, sprinkle it with Holy Water, then burn it? What?

a. You may donate it to the Museum of Talking Boards. We will send you our special Museum of Talking Boards Karma Korrector. Under no circumstances should you burn your Ouija. People can be injured when proper fire precautions are ignored.

q. What in the world is a psychograph?

a. A psychograph is a mentally unstable talking board that will kill you if you use it. Just kidding! Psychographs were early ancestors of Ouija boards. They were also known as dial plates and Spiritoscopes.

q. What are the three things to NEVER ask a Ouija board?

a. One of them is: "Am I fat?" ... >

Many of the ancient indians believed in evil spirits, and in ways to attract or to keep them away.By the 20th century, the priests knew that a way to keep the demons, witches and ghosts away was to pray. So, in my opinion, because I don't believe in spirits and demons, I can tell you that you won' t attract even a fly with the Ouija board.

Yes you can. While a Ouija board is nothing in and of itself, the attempt to contact the spirit realm is an open invitation for evil spirits to work their destructive mischief in your life and many people can testify to the folly of that path of action.

One woman who was posting here and who was putting down Christianity one night was posting the next night asking how to rid her house of evil spirits that she believed were a result of her roommate bringing friends over to use a Ouija board. I had to smile because the previous night I has asked God to show her her need for Him.

Maybe for someone who is a natural evil spirit magnet to begin with.

I'm Pagan witch and Ouija boards don't work for me. My cat like to sit on them however and there have been ocasions to where she has moved the planchet to say "feed me".

Yes. You are constantly surrounded by demons who are watching everything you do and taking notes. Satan is always looking for opportunities to bring evil into your life. Those of us that are saved by the blood of Jesus have a defense, but even we are subject to demonic influences if we get out of line with God's word. The Ouija board is witchcraft, and witchcraft is a major weapon in the devil's arsenal against humankind.

YES and if your are playing with it stop and burn the dang thing. Those are nothing but demon boards. Anything that tries to tell the future or do spells or change events are of the devil. NO good comes from the devil.
You need to reach out to God and allow him to lead you in life not the devil.
If you are playing with these sorts of things or going to mediums for answers you will go to hell. It's a harsh fact. But you better take it to heart.
YOU GO PREACHER! TELL HER!
Those so called mediums that say they know the past and the future are being led by demons. Like those who are on those shows who say they see peoples dead relatives. NO THEY AREN"T they are seeing demons manifested into looking like the dead relitives. They are laughing at all who belives this rubbish because they will soon be in hell with them. Demons are learning things about you all the time. Studying you your family the things that surround you. Issues and situations so they can use them against you in the future.
Everyday I ask the Lord to cover me and my family in the blood of Jesus Christ for no weapon formed against us prosper, to push the demons away from us so they can not see or hear the issues or situations that surround our lives so they can not use them against us now or in the future and the put angles in the demons places to watch over us and help protect us.
There's a spiritual fight going on. Make sure your on the right side baby! You are either 100% for Jesus or nothing.

haha! no i don't believe it, it's a piece of cardboard with letters and numbers, plus a glass tumbler....hardly the work of the devil really?

but i had to laugh at preachers comments about witchcraft.

im sure, being a "preacher" he knows that witchcraft is considered a part of the pagan religion, pagans believed in more than one god and above all, the spirit of the earth , gaia. who happened to be a woman.

then when the romans decided to ditch their gods and spread the "good" word, they demonised this religion and its female figure head, hence why almost 3 million women were burned at the stake in the name of jesus christ and his holy followers.... hmmm. doesn't quite make sense to me... (apologies to pagans if i got some bits wrong.)
