Hi, I have seen many high profile people have girlfriends whom they treat well and use them for pleasure.This is found basically in rich class.On the other side they take care of their family very well.
Most of businessman, chairmans, GMs, president of the company do all this and still they are sucessful, what do u call this type of poeple, is it double standard??

Was Hitler Christlike? It does not matter what faith one claims or what one was raised in but how one lives that faith. Would YOU call Adolf Hitler a Christian? I would not.

I was talking to my boyfriend last night and we were wondering if finding a scientific excuse for all things.. (gravity, human body, ...etc) is a lack of faith in God. As true christians shouldn't we just realize that God is all powerful and not try to put a name on everything... Should we always reach for higher intellectual enlightenment? Sorry so many questions,,, just very curious.

I can't imagine life without my cats. They are a part of my family. Everyone wants their family in heaven with them. I hope my kitties will get to go too. I would be very sad to think they could not be with me.

Just come across a picture on old photograohic card, with hand written meesge on the back. The message reads : With our best wishes for xmas 1939 may God bless you and protect you Elizabeth R and George RI - the photo is by Raphael Tuck and Sons photo under Elizabeth reads Cecil Beaton and under George it reads Hugh Cecil. From what I can see it is a Picture of The Queen Mother in 1939 and George VI in Naval uniform am i right ? What i can't understand is why it would be Elizabeth R and George R I . Can someone please help.

I'm catholic and my friend is baptist. I decided to recite the niceene creed to see if she had the same beliefs as me except for the weird stuff about dancing and stuff and she did believe the same things. then it got me wondering what other differences we have the only thing i found is biased towards the baptists and so now it has me wondering what are the differences. please help.

why don't people go to church. ok, you don't believe in god. wouldn't it be better to take the precautions to be happy for eternity rather than just this life? better to be safe than sorry. a couple hours a sunday isn't bad.

The bible seems totally devoid of humour. Are there any actual comedy moments, amusing scenes, anything in there at all which is generally accepted as 'amusing' for the sake of amusing its readers? And if not, why not?

It seems impossible. I see many cemeteries crowded with tombstones and yet at least every week someone is being buried. Do they remove older graves or bury on top of them?
