It is faith, not proof, that makes Christians believe in Jesus Christ's resurrection, the central tenet of the religion. Until now.

Oxford University professor Richard Swinburne, a leading philosopher of religion, has seemingly done the impossible. Using logic and mathematics, he has created a formula that he says shows a 97 percent certainty that Jesus Christ was resurrected by God the Father, report The Age and Catholic News.

This stunning conclusion was made based on a series of complex calculations grounded in the following logic:

1. The probably of God's existence is one in two. That is, God either exists or doesn't.
2. The probability that God became incarnate, that is embodied in human form, is also one in two.
3. The evidence for God's existence is an argument for the resurrection.
4. The chance of Christ's resurrection not being reported by the gospels has a probability of one in 10.
5. Considering all these factors together, there is a one in 1,000 chance that the resurrection is not true.

I don't want to say I'm an Atheist, but when people talk about heaven I can't help but roll my eyes. What are your views on God, does he really exist, and why do you believe so?

And do you believe you can be saved anywhere? Some people go to church for the wrong reasons,so I say just dont go.God knows and sees all, even if youre not in church he sees if youre sinning. These people who go and come home and drink beer and cuss, I think is worse than NOT going.

If I see him I will whoop his ***.

Want to hear something funny Arnold Schwarhdsdghsnater, not so long ago when that earthquake happened, I turned the TV and saw you in the middle of the ruins investigating the place and for a minute I though it was one of your movies and then I remember that you were the mayor of California.

We aren't wild people, we are just intense and passionate in everything we do. We have flava baby FLAVOR. Us cubans and puertoricans may have African and Indian blood but that's what makes us who we are.

Our blood BURNS.

We arent cannivals, we are humans.

THAT's all I have to say.

end of rant.

In the sanctuary of his Capitol office with an audio recorder rolling, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger describes Republican legislators as the "wild bunch" and, referring to a Latina lawmaker, casually says that "black blood" mixed with "Latino blood" equals "hot" — a fiery personality.

A friend of mine was watching some stuff and it had two guys kissing, which I REALLY enjoyed. My friend said their was no way I could enjoy that and still be straight. But in my opinion it is WAY better with two guys kissing than a guy and a girl, and I still consider myself straight...

Who is correct, me that I still can be straight, or my friend that I cannot be?

I know many smokers. Most want to quit but a few say they are happy about smoking. Those few who are happy about smoking feel oppressed and even angry about the non smoking ads. my question is this. When discussing rights for smokers and non smokers...I think that saying you have the right to smoke in public is the same as saying you have the right to pee in a public swimming pool. I want to get die hard smokers opinions about this and only this..."Smoking in public is just as invasive as peeing in a public pool". Thanks

How come guys like to put their bangs/hair in front of their face (if their hair is long enough)? Is it to sort of block the world around them off from connection? To be "mysterious"? To hide acne?

BTW I dunno if I categorized this right. Sorry ahead of time if i didn't..

The Etruscans, the people who founded Rome, and whose civilization was in Northern Italy, already had a culture very similar to Greece. Their religion was almost identical.

don't you think they took their religion along with them to Rome?

According to the gospel author, Matthew, chp 2:23, at least two prophets of the OT are referred to as having made a prophecy that Jesus would be called a Nazarene. WHERE are these prophecies in the OT.... ? IF you cant find it,,,would you consider that the so called prophecies were part of the fiction which was imagined by the author unknown to try to substantiate the establishment of Jesus as the new CHristian religion leader?
