According to the gospel author, Matthew, chp 2:23, at least two prophets of the OT are referred to as having made a prophecy that Jesus would be called a Nazarene. WHERE are these prophecies in the OT.... ? IF you cant find it,,,would you consider that the so called prophecies were part of the fiction which was imagined by the author unknown to try to substantiate the establishment of Jesus as the new CHristian religion leader?

you wont find this prophecy, since there are no prophecies about jesus in the hebrew scriptures. i am sure it does talk somewhere about somebody from nazareth. the bible talks about people from many cities. but christians grasp at anything like this to say the bible was specifically talking about jesus.

if you want to read more about actual prophecies referring to the messiah in the bible, go to wikipedia and search "jewish messiah." it gives you a list.

I'm not sure where you read that 2 prophets stated that Jesus was a nazerene. My bible doesn't mention anything about two different propehts saying this, but perhaps it is simply the translation that I have. I know that Judges 13:5 is the OT prophecy of Jesus being a Nazerene.

Oh, Wait....Is it simply because Mt 2:23 says, "prophets" instead of prophet? Thats because Judges was written my more than one person.

Anyone who recognizes a difference between the name Immanuel and the name Yeshoua (which somehow became Jesus in modern English) sees that the OT prophecy was not fulfilled.

Most of the references are made in Isiah, Elijah and in Psalms.

Depending on your depth of knowledge. The first five books are metephorical prophecies. An example is Abraham being asked to sacrifice his son (God sacrificng Jesus) or Moses in Exodus (Christ leading Isreal to heaven).

A Nazorite was a person seperate from others.God said for the children of Isreal to vow a vow of the Nazerine, that vow would probably before a day and while they were under that vow they had to seperate themselves from all impurities.Jesus was called a Nazorite because he was perfect.God in the flesh.

You my friend...have unwittingly proved the the veracity of scripture by fulfilling its prophecies:

"Knowing this, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts..."
(2 Peter 3:3)

" Now the Spirit speaks expressly that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, speaking lies in hypocrisy..."(1Tim.4:1)

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who shall privately bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, bring swift destruction upon themselves". (2 Peter 2:1),
