And do you believe you can be saved anywhere? Some people go to church for the wrong reasons,so I say just dont go.God knows and sees all, even if youre not in church he sees if youre sinning. These people who go and come home and drink beer and cuss, I think is worse than NOT going.

I don't think a person has to go to church to be a christian. If you accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior then you are a christian. You are right some folks to go to church for wrong reasons...to look good for the "Jones", to keep up with the "Jones" or get ahead of the "Jones"
God knows what is in a person's heart and that is what is important.

I agree, alot of people do go to church for the wrong reasons. Your christianity is based on your faith not how many times you go to church. However it is good to go to church every once in a while for inspration or advice if you dont know the bible well, the topic that bothers you may just come up.

This reminds me of a sticker I saw which read "If going to church makes you a Christian, does going to the garage make you a car?" People can be Christians and not go to church. And yes, someone can get saved anywhere.

Christianity was meant to be practiced in community. That means going to church and worshiping with others or perhaps participating in a bible study with others, or serving with others on a mission project, or helping out at the local soup kitchen. Jesus brought his disciples together and then sent them out into the world to bring more people to the community of Christianity.

No, you do not HAVE to go to church to be a Christian! It is a place for learning and spiritual growth.

However, when did drinking beer and/or cussing become a sin?

Just because one goes to church doesn't mean your a christian. But God does want us to go to church. He tells us to not forsake the fellowship of other believers. That means to not miss church. No matter what you think is worth then missing church.

Of course you don't have to go to church to be a Christian. If one has a relationship with God I don't think it's necessary only if one wishes to go. I pray everyday and I feel very close to God and I never go to church. God knows whose hearts are for real.

No, you do not have to. This is a place to go if you want to learn more about him. To be a christian you have to believe that god is your creator and savior.
