I would look at this as an opportunity--I think that at an all-Christian school, the Lord's will for us to share our faith cannot come into play as easily. Tell her to take advantage of this opportunity and make some great friends of many faiths (there are so many wonderful people of other religions out there, and if she perhaps shares her faith with even one of them then it's a great thing). The worst that can happen is that she makes friends with people other than Christians (which actually can be a fabulous thing, because again, there are some great people out there, and her faith can grow just from hearing about others)! I am a Christian and I went to public school my entire life--and I would not change that for anything! I would actually have hated to go to a private Christian school.

Well boo friggin hoo. Get over it. There are a million Christian kids going to public schools out there and they don't seem to care. Just because someone goes to public schools doesn't make them a bad person. I have seen many kids that have come out of public schools and still be Christians. They didn't do drugs. They didn't cheat and steal. They were good kids. Get over yourself! You sound like you think you are better than her because you aren't going to the same school with her. That is just really wrong and judgmental. You can't really be a Christian with that spoiled rotten attitude now can you.

I'm a Christian and my siblings are Christians and we've been going to public schools all our lives. I would tell your friend to stick by their values and if something comes up that they don't understand then talk to their parents and they might want to do a Bible study about certian situations. You friend probably already knows not to have sex b4 marriage, and not to do drugs. You could remind her that the Bible says to be in the world not of the world and she shouldn't conform to things that are against her Christianity.
That's all I can think of. Public school isn't torture. You make good friends and you learn life lessons. Besides, it's good for your friend to be exposed to some things before she goes to college so that she can deal with it while she's w/ her parents as opposed to her going off to college and not knowing what to do.

I'm a Christian and go to a private school but I also know a TON of Christians that go to public schools. I would say that she should set standards before she goes and try to always be a good example to everyone...stay out of bad stuff and find other christians to keep each other accountable.

No harm or offense meant or intended, but I'm a Christian and I go to a public school, and so are all of my friends. People who don't go to public school usually have a hard time expressing their feelings and are weird. She could learn a lot at school.

Listen to her parents and find a few good christian friends at school hang out and study together get to know their faith in Christ. Create your circle of loving friends protect one another and do that rally around the pole thing once a year and become shining lights for Christ.
The above holds true if the parents aren't going to listen and may not have enough money to send her to a different school.

she should get involved in extra-curricular activities of the Christian faith...There are several. There is FCA (fellowship of Christian athletes), Most schools or churches offer programs at public schools for 707 groups, which are Bible study groups. By joining those she would be able to meet up with other Christians and have an alternative to the peer pressure and sins that most kids fall into.

I am a Christian and I went to public school and so do my kids. She shouldn't have any problems going to public school. Just tell her to stick to her beliefs and never do anything she thinks is wrong.
