Generally most americans I've met have always been nice and very friendly, but when I was in California I thought they were the nicest (and wonderfully liberal too). I took the amtrack across the US from California to the east-coast. The best people on the train were the californians. The people that got on at salt-lake were weirdos, and the guys who got on the train between chicago and schenectady looked like they'd just got of jail (Buffalo was the worst), the New Yorkers were really impatient, but californians were great, so friendly and chilled the whole journey.

There is not a shred of evidence that disputes it, or leans towards creationism. So does a fundie require a complete fossil record? ...or a complete DNA record for every species? ...or time travel? What will finally be acceptable to squash this ignorant argument?

I came up with the idea for a segment for a public access show that is about Wicca and witchcraft, etc. to do a fact or fiction segment where they(we) take different myths regarding witchcraft and dispell them and discuss the truth that there IS behind those myths. However, we haven't come up with a great name for it yet. We want something relatively short and sweet and maybe something with a little word play in it.... I could use some good ideas!

Thanks in advance.

Blessings and Light!

How can Jesus' physical body exist outside of time? Matter must exist within time, it vibrates with the energy it contains to interact with other matter and energy. If there's no time Jesus would cease molecular motion (definition of absolute zero) and cease to exist!

Whenever you boil down anyone's belief in god it always rests on something they call "faith." "I know there's a god because i have faith" they say. However doesn't having faith in something mean you are accepting something as truth based simply on a feeling that it's true? How is this any different than saying "i guess there's a god?"

Furthermore how can you gain knowlege from faith when faith is but a personal feeling or experience with no evidential grounds?
