I have always wanted to know this question... also is there really a politicallly correct way to say it too?

The differences are mainly locality. For example, people who speak Spanish and are from Mexico will have different words for the same thing that someone from El Salvador says.

Same can be said about English. Someone from New York will speak differently than someone from say, Georgia. It's all a matter of where they grew up and local customs.

Also, people from England speak English differently than people from the United States do.

There is no politically correct way to say it either, because some people who prefer to be called Latina or Latinos might not like being called Spanish, and vice versa.

The difference between Latin and Spanish cultures is that Latin cultures are the ways of life of ALL Latin Americans, INCLUDING Brazilians, regardless of whether they speak Spanish or Portuguese (I ALREADY know that Brazilians speak Portuguese, BTW), and Spanish cultures are the ways of life of ONLY Spanish-speaking Latin Americans. I hope this helps.

Spanish culture is a widely used word that has become the all-purpose word for all things related to the spread of the language. Latin culture dervives more from South America and the Latin American countires such as Mexico.

Such as...Mexicans are not Spanish. They speak Spanish but are of Mexican nationality. Just like me and you speak English but have different nationalities such as Russian, Italian, or what not.

Every country in Latin America has very different cultures. Spain also has a whole different culture from Latin countries. We share the same language, but that's all.
