Recently I worked for a company where the General Manager and three managers were all blonde.. and I asked myself where are the brunettes which was one. Do companies positively discriminate towards blondes or is this coincidence?

I think you found a coincidence. I know that in my case one of the places I worked showed discrimination towards blondes (not too many of us lasted in this place). Yes there is discrimination, it comes in all ways - one place I worked was against me because I don't drink to excess where they would need to dump me in a car until I sobered up enough to call someone to come get me, while they continued to party and get the others drunk enough to dump (and yes this happened at an informal Christmas party they were throwing - they went bar hopping and as people got drunk they just dumped them in a car and continued to party).

Of course there is still discrimination. People discriminate for whatever reason they like. I'm not going to say that yes, that was a direct discrimination case, but yes it still happens. ...and I would expect a blonde to say that it was not discrimination...for obvious reasons.

Companies do discriminate unconsciously in favour of good looking people.
