I once was told my family's history could be made into a book... or a soap opera. You, of Y!A, I am going to allow to decide whether or not this is true or false. It's a long read, though. VERY long.

Let's start with my mother, Dorothy. Her nickname was Dolly. She was adopted, and lived with an adoptive mother Viola and adoptive father John. Her adoptive parents had two children of their own, John and Eileen. They also had another adoptive daughter, Barbara.

When Dolly was 14 she started smoking 5 packs of Heavy Malboro a day. By the time she was 15, she was pregnant. Viola and John insisted she marry the man who impregnated her, and she did. This was when my mother dropped out of highschool. However, once the baby was born -- Maribeth -- my mother decided that she could not handle taking care of a child, and gave the baby over to her new husband's parents. Several weeks later, she got an anulment + divorce and their relationship ended.

It was about this time my mother met --

From what I can gather, a man marries one women LEGALLY, then at a later date as he and his wife feel ready he marries another women SPIRITYALLY. So why is it illegal?

An infant does not have free will. Would the infant choose to be abused or left in a trash can? Would a three year old choose to be abused? Allthough no first hand experience, I can't imagine anything worse. If God can interfere in modern world, why doesn't he protect the innocent. If it is to teach them a lesson, God could teach it in a more humane way, he can do anything right? Thanks in advance for the answers.

I want to go home to hell where i know I'll burn-better than being alone WANTING for the Love I Yearn-The God of life had made a promise-he broke it unto me-by giving his only begotten son-and forgetting about me-wasn't I created just as he? Wasn't I worthy of Love-but instead I was placed on the Earth-as though cast out from above-It wasn't I who in my mind did form-Sin or Evil-I was innocently born-It wasn't I who took a bite-from the forbidden things-that I in right-have no blame for what they bring-but here I wait alone and still-Oh give me Hell-for God's LOVE IS ILL!

Example of bias:
Question: "So some christians need censors to hide their hypocrisy?"

Answer from Bohemian: "Bob as I said get out the Internet Cafe now and back to the institute, you will be safe there. People will love you and take care of you and give you some drugs that will help. Counselling is good too"

Reported >18 hours ago for "insulting other participants"
The answer was never removed.

Explain how this is not an example of Y!A bias against non-christians?

Folks, I'm willing to engage christians and others on a level playing field. But when christians can insult non-christians with impunity, relying on the bias of Y!A censors to act as their shields, the field is obviously not level.

I could suggest that non-christians retaliate in kind, massive numbers of reports against anything christians post, but what would be the point: Y!A will ignore them.

Suffering happens. We, everyone else, every creature gets frustrated, scared, hurt, hungry, thirsty, grows ill and dies.

But human beings have asserted suffering spawns from "evil." For example, to Osama Ben Laden, the Westerners are evil. To Westerners, Al-Qaeda is evil. However, all are simply stating that the source of their suffering is evil.

But what if there is no such thing as "evil"? Is it possible that human beings have invented evil to explain our experience of suffering? Is the concept of evil creating a distraction from dealing with the experience of suffering?

If christianity chooses not to follow the original laws (which Jesus did), then how come they are still published in all the versions of the old and new testament? I think Christianity made its own interpretation and kept the laws that they liked, and dropped the ones they didn't (like eating pork for example) It just seems hypocritical. if you're going to have beliefs, don't pick and choose, follow all the testaments printed or don't print them. Keep in mind, I am a believer, just a questioner.

His death, of course, is more than tragic. We have lost one of our planet's most colorful members. I'm curious, however - what were his religious beliefs? Chrisitan? Agnostic? The Church of Crocodilian Authority?

I have questions about college dorms?
Are the guys showers private or is it all in one big room?
How/when does one masturbate or have sex with a girl in such small room with a roomate? Do you do it front of the roomate?
Is it rude to hang out in your underwear and should I always be dressed in front of a roomate?
Finally can I borrow my roomates clothes like I used to borrow my brothers or is that also a nono?
