Dan Brown never said is story is true. The points he is making such as jesus being married have been around since the 70ties,,,, read holy blood holy grail. Mary not being a virgin Da vinci himself made a painting called "Virgin on the rocks" take a good look at the picture Da vinci didn't think she was a virgin and put it in his picture. Take a good hard look it is very hard to see.We think the holy grail is a cup but you don't see it in the last supper that da vinci made.

But you can't say the bible is true either.

I think it is entirely possible. It makes complete sense that Jesus would have married given the time-frame. All Jewish males, once bar mitzvahed, would be ushered towards marriage. Any Jewish male not married by the age of 30, would be cast out of the community or shunned.

There is a great deal we do not know about the contents of the bible let alone the period of time in Jesus' life between the age of 12 and 30. That's completely missing in the biblical account of Jesus' life. And the contents? As many as 400 gospels are missing or were deliberately removed from the final text. One of those gospels was discovered and written about by religious scholar, Karen King. If you would like to have your eyes opened, pick up her book, "The Gospel According to Mary Magdalene."

It is a novel. Fiction. Like Tom Sawyer. Like the Book of Job. It's a story, meant to entertain and earn money for the author, publisher and sellers.

If it's a lie, then who ever told you that you knew enough to pass a spelling test was also lying. Or maybe that was fiction, too.

The Bible has been backed up by science and historians. The Biblical account of the history of the Jews and the account of Jesus are accurate and NOT fiction! The book and movie about a so called code is nothing but garbage! You would think they have better things to do than make up lies about our savior! People who know no better actually take this for the truth!

Neither. It's fiction.

If it is a Biblical Lie, then so isn't most of Science Fiction. Do people argue about Science Fiction?

In fact, do people BET on Professional Wrestling? Of course not!

Then people shouldn't argue about the validity of fiction. Dan Brown has said "THIS IS FICTION".

Its far more factual than the bible and I think you'll find its spelt the Da Vinci Code. (Notice the bible doesn't deserve capital letters, its not that important!)

It is simply a work of fiction, like many other books, and that is all it was intended to be. All the fuss and controversy has worked wonders for Dan Brown's bank account..

It's a novel. Therefore, fiction.
It amazes me as one of the greatest marketing strategies of the last years.
It's a novel. Fiction. Just one book among millions. Why the hoopla?

I don't believe the whole thing is true, but I believe some things are, like that Mary Magdalene lived and was a disciple of Jesus.

I'm open to any new ideas, but I certainly don't believe anything word for word. It's called having a mind of my own!
