With all the new technology, has anyone actually went about sending a letter the "old school way?"

To tell you the truth, I wrote a letter just two weeks ago to a friend that only lives a couple cities away. =^^= I find that while the new technology is very convenient, letters can be a lot more personal. Also, when you send a letter, you know that whoever you're sending it to will receive it, unlike e-mails, which could get lost within a bunch of spam, and IM'ing, if your friend doesn't come on that often. I just feel that letters can help express my meaning a lot better as well as being a lot more permanent, as it is tangible. Also, I like to decorate envelopes, use cute stationary and stamps, and spray perfume on letters. =^^= And I feel that we as humans shouldn't give up parts of ourselves just to conform to modern society. I'm not telling everyone to make their own fabric and to start making their own garments, but maybe every once in a while, put down the frozen tv dinner and make a nice homemade meal.

In the days right before Y2K... I wrote a time-capsule letter to each of my children and mailed them so they would have the 12/31/99 postmark. When they arrived, we sealed them away for 25 years.

I think letter writing is now a super personal thing to do.It's been a year or two for me.It good for friends and relatives who live far away and aren't too Internet savvy! I write a lot of checks,and mail them to the Bill company's though!Sometimes they get a nice personal message from me too!LOL

hey i send letters all the time its good because it like adds your personal touch i love it i write my best friends all the time we love we have a lot of fun
