I live in Croatia which is considered a 'balkan' country.A friend of mine told me that when foreign people think of us they imagine well
...not smart people,barbarian-like etc.Is it really true?

Just curious what the al- means before a last name in Islam. For example: al-Hadeed. At first I thought it meant "child of" then the fathers name, but this isn't the case.

It seems 2 me at the rate xtianity is declining and Wicca is increasing that eventually we will outnumber them? It's obvious this is going to happen. Every Wiccan I know believes it. I know I'm not the only one who thinks this, either. I know everyone hates Silver Ravewolf (and yet someone is buying her books), and ,, yes I read her books. In the bible it says homosexuality is a sin, but you really don't need to look in the bible to figure that out. Not to be graphic, but a man's sperm is made to go into a womans vagina to bear a child, not to go in a man's anus. I guess masturbation and anal sex with a woman would fit into this catergory too, right. Please, only intelligent answers, and again, I am not judging anyone or condemning anyone.

Why is it that when asking silly or jokingly offensive questions people can't see them for what they are? I find that some of the best comedians are ones that step over the line because it's fresh and somewhat taboo. Why do people get so angry that they make belittling or violent statements? Do some people just need to be more open-minded or am I being too close-minded?

I myself believe in reincarnation; when the soul departs the body, it can either pick a new body immediatley or wait for a little while to decide. The rebirthing cycle continues until the spirit has learned all life's lessons and has been rid of all impurites. I've been told I've had 5 past lives.

Cuz' I have seen large footprints next to a long dirt road. I have also seen a big patch of hair stuck in a bush, like it has been pulled out. It really freaked me out.

In an interview done by 60 minutes

(1) people are born gay/les. this is not only due to their sexual behaviour but their physiological attributes like the way they move and talk. Generally a gay is more efeminated whereas lesbians are more masculine.

(2)the level of hormone exposure while the baby is still in the womb also helps to determine a person's sexual orientation.

(3)the more older brothers a guy has the more likely he's gay but this does not apply to lesbians who have more older sisters. However this only applies to guys who are born right handed. (there is a strong correlation but this theory is yet to be proven).

(4) But there are several cases where identical twins, one of them is straight and the other one is gay. So how did this happen?
