I was asked to donate in addition to signing the sympathy card for a colleague that had lost a family member. I did it but had never experienced this practice before. I have never received anything like this nor would I want to. How did this practice develop and what are the reasons for it.

I'm not criticizing it. I'm just very curious about it.

Thanks.

I mean we live in such a scary unforgiving world. Where child molesters and murderers run rampant. All those evil acts fueled by satan. And God is the only one who can possibly save our children. I don't know about u but I think that is a great reason to take God out of the schools. Why teach our children about there only assurance and real safety?

C'mon keep that hand up

Hands?

How so? Skills? How does this "ability" help you in your everyday life?

Would you use another word/concept instead of "telepathy"?

Thx for your reply :-)

Why would a god care whether or not we believed in it, or about sins, or anything at all for that matter? I'm not interested in a bunch of crap cut and pasted from ancient holy books, or to be told I need to accept Jesus or Allah, etc. Nor am I looking for cop outs like "free will" or "we just can't know god's will".

I'm interested in a rational explanation.

I know it is a lie Satan started himself from the pits of hell but why is that lie so popular among non-christians anyway?

Is the USA in bible prophecy?

I personally don't think so. Some believe we are the Babylon in Revelation.

Does anyone have any bible verses that may include the USA?

If a Muslim brother slap you in one cheek because he thinks you're infidel then give your other cheek to him because you think you are a Christian instead. Then you get along. But the problem is both of you are living under the wrong impression - an illusion that both of you brothers are right. Too complicated.

Or better still, just forgive and love each other to simplify things.

Is my logic flawed?

Which songs make you feel happy, inspired, courageous, or cry because they're so beautiful? Name the song, and how it makes you feel. God is worthy of praise and glory.

I love many of the powerful contemporary gospel songs, such as Victory by Yolanda Adams, praise and worship music such as Glorious by Martha munizzi, and some of the gentler inspirational songs such as Psalm 23 by Jeff Majors(very beautiful harp music) listen at this link http://jeffmajors.com/site/ and "I can only imagine" by Mercyme. Check out the flash movie of the last song here: http://www.andiesisle.com/icanonlyimagine.html

in malaysia....the malays get special rights..
i know this kind of thing happens in america as well....what do u guys think about it..?
over here....if your not a malay or a muslim....its extra difficult for you to get scholarships or jobs.
its easier for malays to get A's in examinations because the standard is lowered for them.
my chinese tuition teacher was really angry....he told me that his daughter who scored 12A's in her SPM examination(O levels) didnt get a scholarship...but her malay classmates who only managed to get 5A's....well they got full scholarships to further studies in the U.K.
