I have a huge water bottle. The 5 gallon type that is used for water coolers in offices. I have in the front door of our house. My wife and I dump our change into it every day. We also ask any guest that comes into our home to do the same. When it gets filled the contents get sorted and rolled. We then put it into a savings account for our children's college fund

I'm very obsessive about loose change. My husband drops it on any surface. I go scrape it all up. and I put pennies (always checking for Wheat Pennies) in a large cookie tin, and I put nickles and dimes into a ziploc freezer bag that I keep in the same tin.
(Quarters(always checking for the Wisconsin ones) go for the water machine to refill our 5-gallon water machine jugs)
We just took all of the change (HEAVY!!) that we had accumulated over the past 6 months or so, and dumped it into the CoinStar machine at the grocery store, and got a whopping $112.54!!!!!!!!!!!

I put it in a piggy bank which adds up! So when the ice cream men comes, I have loose change for my children to spend... :)

My boyfriend has a huge jar that he keeps all of his change in, so I usually just throw mine in there. I accumulate A LOT of change, and it's always bugged me if I try to keep up with it. At least this way I don't just toss it out or lose it, and it keeps him happy...lol. There's something like $400 in that jar now!

I found a BIG old glass water jug out on the curb one day. I put it in my trunk, cleaned it up, and named it my "dream Jar." Once a year, it gets emptied of all the change and I blow it on a trip to somewhere tropical.

Put it somewhere and forget about it. After a few months, you'll have saved a good bit.
