'To be a pilgrim' would suggest this to be a best scenario especially in more balsamic areas of the country.

Okay, I'm on a holiday kick today. Personally, I say Merry Christmas because most people in America celebrate this holiday, but if I know someone celebrates another holiday, I will wish them a Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Ramadan, Happy Hannukka, etc.

What's wrong with saying Merry Christmas???

I have yet to see a single person that was actually black in color, neither have I seen one that was white, not to mention all the other groups. Don't ethnic categories do more to divide us than anything else? Aren't we all just shades of brown?

Why can't we just say "I am a HUMAN"?

How many of you who claim there is no separation of church and state have knowledge of this letter and if so, why do you choose to ignore its weight since it comes directly from a founder? I would be interested in the rationalizations applied that allow you to do that.

Other than the "separation of church and state" issue why is this a problem?

No one is saying that the city, school or other property is advocating that holiday, only recognizing that it exists? Why is this wrong?

If they were to allow recognition of other religious holidays (such as Hindu, Wiccan, Muslim, Jewish, Shintoism, Taoism or any other religion), would that make a difference to you?
