Have you ever read the quote by my favorite actor of all time, I use his quote in my 360 page, it was said by Sidney Poitier"I never had an occasion to question color, therefore, I only saw myself as what I was...a human being. See people with elegants & class,& a pure heart only see your inside personality, the things that make you smile, cry, laugh, they don't see color,we should all be that pure of heart.

I see where you're coming from and all, but I can say that I have seen people that are actually black in color and i have seen people who are as white as snow. we identify with colors as a sense of belonging. there was a point in time when some "humans" were looked upon as being, not to mention, treated as something less than a dog.

I apologize, your question is idealistic.
Since there is a genetic flaw in the human species it will never be possible for human beings to get past that which separates us.
Race, nationality, language, culture, religion, politics, history, economics.
I wish I had a better answer to your question.
But if I did, I imagine I would suffer the same fate several others have.
Have fun but be safe.

Your assuming that racism only has to do with skin colour. That's way too simplistic. Yes ethnic categories divide us, but to just say they don't exist and expect that to make a difference is illogical and wishful thinking.

I know.. I guess ppl just consider the colors of skin simplified claiming it solves the problem. It's a cultural thing, some people really do thing beyond that level.

Why should you not be able to describe someone by the colour of their skin, or by mentioning their race? As long as the one doesn't think she's better then the other, where's the problem?

george carlin has a bit where he discusses interracial marriage, claiming that he loves it because eventually we will all end up a shade of gray and then we can learn to hate each other for who we really are. i like that way of thinking.

Absolutely... however, it isn't just one person. The entire world pigeonholes people in order to make it easier for them to understand. I agree but I think it is unrealistic. What is better is to teach and listen to those who you are close to and have them teach and listen to those who they are close to, etc.
