You are imposing a modern use of the word Cherub not the original as David would have intended. The angel guarding the garden of eden with a flaming sword was a Cherub
and I agree that this phrase is of the stuff of prose and poetry as someone says below
In Hebrew a cherub is a mighty angel with wings and the keeper of flames the Ark of the covenant had two cherubs portrayed on the lid bowing to God.. not like the baby looking cherub of english literature at all... this one has a flaming sword
Ezekiel 10:7
And a cherub stretched out his hand from between the cherubim to the fire that was between the cherubim, and took some of it and put it into the hands of the man clothed in linen, who took it and went out.
The ark of the covenant was pictured with two of these cherubs above the ark cover and two very large carved cherub, the ark possibly situated short side forward as iff pulled by the two large carved cherubs

"He rode upon a Cherub and flew and he was seen upon the wings of the wind)" Could you quote book, chapter and verse for that? Obviously God, who is greater than the universe would not need an angel for transportation. I tend to think you made this up or got it out of some cult book.

Why would God cruise around on a cherub?
You might want to get together with the person forming questions using soggy Alphabets. You might be able to get a TV show right after Jerry Falwell.

2 Sam 22:ll He mounted the cherubim and flew; He soared on the wings of the wind.
In Ezekiel 1 and 10 the Cherubim are described, and they are FAR FROM anything like a small girl angel! They are also said to be the bearers of the THRONE of God, which is where he SAT, on His THRONE. Get it????

Cherub: No.
Cherubim: Yes.
Most angels don't have human forms, they are made of spirit, not flesh.

Thats Dumb. God is an Omnipresent, Omniscient, and Omnipotent being. He has no need to ride around on anything. Hes already there, where he needs to be.
-I believe that line is supposed to be prose though. Or maybe even symbolism to show his dominion over all creation.
