Not at all. It may be that the name you've given it is the name provided to you by it.

If you actually have a guardian angel -- then he (or she) might already have a name.

He probably wouldn't be too offended if you gave him a nice name, though.

I don't think it would. I think it would be good if you named it. However why don't you ask your angel what said name is.

Yes, because naming implies ownership and because our Guardian Angels already have their own names.

A nickname is probably ok though.
