Athieths try to say the Bible story of creation is wrong because Evolution is science. The Bible tells us that people and dinosaurs (dragons, Leviothan, Behemoth, unicorns) lived togeather. Evolution says that dinosaurs died out millions of years before man appeared. But all around the world there are inprints of dinosaurs and human footprints togeather (even overlapping)in the same rock. This shows that the Bible is correct and Evolution is just a theory.

Is there any thing in the Koran that shows that Evolution is not correct?

Money or Happiness. Now I don't mean this in the same way a teacher would mean it. I'm a 14 year old kid, who looks at the future a little differently than most 14 year old kids would. I don't want to be super poor, living on the streets. I don't want to be rich, and live in a mansion in California. My dream in the future...is just living on a farm, driving a 2000 Ford Pick up truck, waking up 4 in the morning every day, just to work on the farm. All I hear from adults is that they all want to win the lottery and get rich. I guess it does make a big difference if you have kids or not. So the question is....Am I better off going for the 100,000 dollars a year business man. basically making that money to buy stuff that i'll never use cause I'm never home...or say 30, 000 dollars a year. but living where i wanna live, not working hard at my real job, but working my *** off at home, having fun?

We see that things and particularly living beings come into existence of a sudden, instantaneously. But, while things which appear suddenly out of a simple substance should be simple, formless, and without art, they are created with an art and beauty needing much skill, they are decorated with painstaking embroideries needing much time, and adorned with wonderful arts needing many tools. Thus, just as each of these instantaneous, wondrous arts and beautiful combinations indicates to the necessary existence of an All-Wise Creator and the Unity of His Dominicality, so too in their totality do they show in most brilliant fashion an infinitely Powerful, infinitely Wise Necessarily Existent One.

So now, O stupefied denier! Come on, with what can you explain this? With Nature, which is unconscious, impotent, and ignorant like you? Or do you want to make an infinite mistake and call that All-Holy Maker 'Nature', and on the pretext of naming Him that, attribute the miracles of His Power to it and perpetrate an impossibility compounded a thousand times over?

With a many rap artists? They sing about killing people, have gunshots in the background of their music.

Then they wear crosses, and thank god in speeches and in their albums.

. . . in the Creator but NOT in the god of organized religions.

I notice that whenever a mention the Creator people assume I'm a Christian - far from it! It is an understandable mistake, but I do not like organized religions because in my view they create their own gods to fit their own agendas.

Personally, I think the Creator is beyond our ability to comprehend fully and hate the way the Great Spirit is protrayed by organized religion - do you agree? disagree? why?

A tried to answer a question that was deleted about sex and nuns and how they can go without it. I admit I had to laugh as although it is pleasant I do not place sex in the same category as food, shelter, and air. Does someone actually believe that they cannot live without it?

Obviously, you are going to say "well they are not true christians". I've met many people, girls in particular. If the conversation permits, I ask them what they believe in. They answer "I'm a Christian". Now this is after they just swore repeatedly, possibly just had a threesome, was all over a guy, just beat someone up, just told someone that they hate them and they should die, did drugs. And they reply "I'm a Christian"

Has the Christian religion fallen?

What do you think?

The more I look at people who claim to be highly religious - be they Christians, Jews, Muslims, whatever - they seem to be the most judgemental biogoted close-minded unwelcoming people I know. They're the ones committing wars, murder, hatred, and racism. Are they the devil in disguise?

We had friends over this weekend, and they have a three year old child. Since they came, we have noticed a horrible smell in a wing of our house, and we could not figure out what it was until this morning. In a little used bathroom of our house, off of a guest room, they apparently threw an unwrapped Pull Up with feces in it into our wicker wastebasket! I thought this was really trashy and rude, and felt as if they should have asked for a bag to tie it up in and thrown it in the outside garbage, or atleast asked me where to put it! It wasn't even folded in on itself, and there is even poop all over the wicker of my wastebasket. I had to throw it away. I would never have suspeted, and didn't even know their child wasn't potty trained. I never did this when my four children were young, and I am just disgusted. Do I mention it to them so it doesn't happen again, and how?

You can not design an scientific experiment to determine the existence or nonexistence of God (for now) and that subject is pure philosophical.

On the other hand you can question the claims of religion and individuals and argue against them (every religion have their own versions about how the universe begun, life appear, purpose of life etc. - if, maybe, not all are wrong, cannot be right in the same time)

My question: why is questioning a religion claim is tabu an questioning anything else is not?
Do you have the full freedom to question religion?

Terroists
child molesters and rapists just like their holy prophet (PBUH)
uncivilized
useless buggers
muslim women are goats

not easy been a muslim nowadays right? is this the reason why noora's are changing their names to nora's
while mohomed's are changing their names to michael's in increasing numbers?
If muslims made their bed they should be sleeping in it instead of blaming others right?

Why do you care so much about God and religion? No one seems to care if Little Johnny is told that Santa Claus is real, but some atheists get real worked up if Little Johnny is told that Jesus is real. Why? Why get involved?

Intelligent answers only, please - not just "Because there is no god, so there!" And if it is at all possible (and for some of you (I've read your responses) I realise that is almost impossible) no abuse such as saying you are intelligent and all theists are stupid/less intelligent/mentally incompetant/suffering from a mental illness - or (to quote a responder who shall remain nameless) a "brain-dead Muppet."

I only want answers dealing with the question as well, not "Why are you an atheist?" or "How superior do you feel your atheism makes you?" And try to keep it concise - I don't want a thesis either.
