With a many rap artists? They sing about killing people, have gunshots in the background of their music.
Then they wear crosses, and thank god in speeches and in their albums.

Rap Artists will say or do anything if it makes them popular and sells their albums. Their speeches about God & wearing crosses is to appease the parents (so that parents will think that the rappers are clean & will allow their children to buy their albums), and the songs about drugs and hate are for the children (because that is what the target audience wants to hear).

they're trying to play on both sides of the street (the gunshots give them street cred and the cross is suppose to show faith), but you can either be faithful or you're not. people that play both sides of the street usually get hit by cars from both directions.

Exactly as was said, it's fashion, not faith.
The Bible tells us in the latter days there will be many of the elect who are deceived and fall away from the true faith. Such people as you mention may be of that crowd.

Kiki-la,i wouldn't be to concerned about others appearing to be hipocrites,GOD will Judge their hearts. I found that what flaws I saw in others, that angered me,where flaws that I had. People can attach themselves to most anything, that doesn't mean it is a real commitment or experience. It could just be for the image they're trying to create.

they just make it up so they could be more popular and sell more albums, cds, but i wouldnt listen to any of that sh*t that says killing, raping,. I believe in God and Jesus.
