We should have compassion for all people. Money alone doesn't take a lot of pain from life. People who feel hurt or bad should be listened to. If you can help someone poorer than you, make their life a bit better, that is a good thing to do.

yes we should have compassion for people. cause we can drop and fall down very easily in the same predicdament. Beeing poor has nothing to do with being laczy. Being poor has something to do with Economics and Security in our society. I once was poor but now I m not. I am not rich either, but I can live compfortable. I think helping the poor will give you a purpose and will give you many blessings. I am sponsoring a person in Kenya, Africa. We have so much to be thankful for! So help someone along the road that is less unfortune than you!!! It will give you Blessings!!!

I can't exactly say yes or no

This question can be looked at both ways. However, you'd first need to define "poor". By this I mean, if it was a poor family in a third world country, then yes.

If It was a bum on the sidewalk of a large city who was an alcoholic and preferred sleeping here and there instead of getting a job then no.

Be compassionate where it is called for, it doesn't matter whether they are richer or poorer than you. Bear in mind that rich people are sometimes more miserable than the poor.

We should have compassion for all people. Some may be wealthy and yet poor, and some may be poor yet rich.

You should have compassion on everyone. Just because someone is rich doesn't mean they are happy and fulfilled. Just because someone is poor doesn't mean they are sad or depressed. We should be compassionate to all mankind.

what exactly do you mean by this question? are you implying that you should be mean to people because they are poor? so what if they are poor, they are still people. Poor people often times are the more compassionate people because they aren't blinded by money and possessions. they can see you for who you are. i think the real question is should the poor have compasiion for those who may be richer than themselves?
