Well, it is the Space Elevator project which is going to be available in 2050. People will then be able to take a look at the moon and other planets, it will be called space tourism..
That's in my own point of view.
Another alternative would be a car which travels at the speed of sound and it will be like a small home; it will have computers, toilet, kitchen, a table for eating.. It will nearly look like a caravan but more luxurious and smaller in size.

I think that miro technology will play a big part in what the next greatest invention is. There is a book I read called "ENOUGH" about genetic egineering, it has interestig ideas about what science is getting close to accomplishing. There is one chapter particularly interesting about how nanobots could one day go into our blood stream to clean up cancerous cells. Hows that for a revolution!

We all know that necessity is the mother of invention. Our technology has pretty much supplied [western] society with all of it's needs. I believe we will need a man-made fuel source. This synthetic source would have to be very inexpensive, perpetual, an inexhaustible supply, and uses raw materials that are not harmful to the environment.

technologies isn't lifting all boats, yet we save including more desirable boats! As our numbers boost, there'll be more desirable conflicts in any respect stages -- interior sight, interior sight, nationwide, international and international -- that would not take position if inhabitants were stabilized. that is a lot more desirable equitable having each and each human being wrestle the flu on his own, rather than waste factors having armies wrestle one yet another over factors. through preventing the suppression of influenza, absolutely everyone will be at the front strains, rather of very few sturdy adult adult males.

Excellent, thought-provoking question! Unfortunately, if I had an idea that would revolutionize the way in which we live, I'd be filling out patent forms or appearing on Simon Cowell's "American Inventor" reality series. :)
