raise them, do you honestly think they can raise anything other than war and taxes? I mean look what a great job they have done balancing the budget. Do we want our children taught this type of math and logic?

I'm seeing some Christians telling other groups of people different from them to not post in this section of the site, like THEY own it? Where does it say that only yall can post here? Nowhere. This is the "religion and spirituallty board," not the "Christian and Jesus" section. This is a section for people of all kinds of beliefs to post, not just you all.

This is only for the Christians who believe that only they have a right to post here, and no one else.

I personally used to believe in God and his son Jesus (I still kind of do), but as I got older I started to see things differently. I have seen some History channel programs on how some scriptures were taken out of the Bible. That makes me think that if priests or whatever could take scriptures out then what prevents them for adding stuff in. The Bible was was written by men, and that's what bothers me the most. Also I'm going to go off topic, but it's still relevant to my question. Howcome we as humans didn't get to live with the dinosaurs, and if we were present at that time why are we still here? Wasn't much of life destroyed by that commet during that time? My only conclusion to this is that we somehow came out of something (evolution). Think about it we're not entirely different form animals. what seperates us from them is that we have a bigger brain which made us create our languages which helps us to communicate. I believe in god because I can't understand emotions.

Men always seem to have such nice legs! I don't mind if they want to show them off! Even a towel wrapped around after a shower looks like a man-skirt. I never thought about it until last Halloween when a man came in dressed like Roman guard. Wooow! All the women loved it!

Should they be able to tell us how to educate them? Or what faith they may or may not be raised in? I say no to both of these. These are my children not the governments. In the U.S. it is supposed to be government of the people, by the people, for the people. This involvement in our lives resembles Ancient Sparta and this is not what our Founding Fathers wanted in a government. How do you feel about it?
