Would anything really turn you on? It would be nasty to go down or eat the tush back then I'm assuming.

LOOLL!!! I was juuuust thinking about that TODAY! Only because I saw what looked like a "mountainman" walking down the street in long, full faced beard and clothes that have seen better days. I thought, "He just LOOKS stink." I enjoy running water, soap, shampoo and razors. Still, I think of how people lived these past centuries, yet found each other attractive enough for us to be here today. Maybe everybody smelled bad...and you know how your nose can get used to a bad odor...

Haha, they probably didn't know any better right? It would be like the first T-bird
it wasn't a very fast car or stylish or anything. But it was still amazing to everyone. But if someone nowadays was driving it, they would hate it because they knew theres something better out there.

To the contrary . people in the 19 century were clean.they were cleaner than u migt expect..My dad is telling me stories about how clean the air , the water and the good smell of everything.

yeah I always wondered that too. You know they had nasty breath and plac all over their teeth. Just nasty. Yuck

I've wondered the same thing - can you imagine when people didn't bath regularly? I'm soooo grateful for indoor plumbing

mint and parsley have been around forever. maybe they sucked on cinnamon sticks. as far as the muff diving goes, the smell of a woman is an aphrodisiac in itself.

They didn't know anything else so I imagine they didn't care. If that was the way everyone lived why would it gross them out?
