i watched a special on the Discovery Channel about psychic children and their abilities and became very interested in learning about people who can see auras around people. is there any good books or sites i can go to to learn more about this ability?

You want your "third eye" opened? That's no big deal if you are prepared to pay the price. However, you must follow the right way to get the genuine thing and not the counterfeit. Here is how: 1. Be baptized in God. 7. Be baptized in the Holy Ghost. These baptisms are christian initiations. Your "third eye" may be opened between the 3rd and 5th level. Seeing the aura is a minor thing; you will not only see auras, but you will see great and wonderful things which you have not known. Reading and interpreting what you see is another kettle of fish. A lot of people are born with it. Myself included. You lose the ability when you're told it's impossible to do.
Surely, if you look around, you can find out how.
Check out most books in your New Age/Metaphysical section of your nearest bookstores.

It takes alot of work to be able to read auras if you are not born with the gift. I have been practicing for about 3 years and I am seeing results, the best advice I can give is to not let anyone tell you its not real, and to read read read and practice practice practice ^_^

You can close eyes and see SPIRITS!
they appear as colors!
