My friend is a HUGE music fan and i asked her if she would be interested in going to a concert (for interest sake: concert "a"). She said no because she wanted to use the money for a different concert (concert "b"). The reason why i want to give the tix to her is because she is the only other person i know that would want to see concert "a" with me. Would it be wrong to give her the tix to concert "a"

Imagine it.

No more insecure freakish golemn-like religious wackos prescribing our behaviors.

Would we get all fussy over nudity on tv? "ohh lawdy, what if my kid saw it...his head might explod or satan might kidnap him!"

Imagine it, no more muslims foaming at the mouth, brewing with hatred for all the "americans running around naked all having sex, none of the having fathers, all hookers all of them" (ps, most of them really say that and believe that, i didnt exagrerrate a word).

No more PG/R ratings and other paternalistic/religious nonsense.

No more fuss, it normal...no need to blabber on and on about what others are doing...

The problem with all this however, is....if these pathetic religious wackos cant obsess over how others behave, they are left to focus on their own pathetic lives...

Paul states that Christians have "died" with Christ, but he seems to make it clear that they have NOT yet been raised with Him. He tries to clarify this point to his congregations, who seemed to think they had already been raised.

However, in the book of Colossians (which scholars say was not actually written by Paul), it is said that Christians HAVE been raised with Christ.

How can these 2 be reconciled?

I have a little...well big problem. I'm lesbian and my parents are extreme(can't think of a better word, lol) Christians. They think that all gay people are going to hell and all that other stuff and whenever I'm around them and they see a gay person, they're always like, "Why would they wanna be like that?" I wanna tell them that gay people don't CHOOSE to be gay...they just are. but then they'll start to get suspicious and start asking me all these questions. I want to tell them that I'm lesbian but i don't know how they'll take it. I think they might already have an idea but i'm not sure. Should I tell them now or should i wait until I get out of high school?

Has anyone else been in this situation? What did you do?

P.S. I'm sorry if this question didn't make much sense...i'm not good at this kinda thing..-_-

I hear red-necks all the time talking about how they hate college professors, scientists, doctors, writers; - basically anyone who holds a degree from a respectable Northern University/College. For example, it's 3:07pm now on August 18, 2006. What if in an hour, it were 2:07pm and tomorrow morning August 17, 2006? and next year 2005?

I'm not talking about time travel, but just the time measurement going the other way? I mean why does time have to increase?

How can mormons be considered a religious group (cult) when so many commandments are broken in the way they live their lives? What self-respecting women would allow her husband (owner, master) to be married to other woman at the same time as herself?
