With all women have to do these days, especially the single ones, why not have a day like this to honor them? Working moms are so discredited today.

Yes, I think so. A great way to celebreate is all single and working mothers should be excused from work for the day, get free gas, have everything 50% off for working and single moms, Free Day Care, and every single and working mom gets a spa day. It may be a little over the top, but hey!

It's called Mother's Day. It celebrates ALL mothers, regardless of whether or not they are working. Even if they do not have a normal paying job, motherhood is still work. There is not, and never will be a "Single Mother's Day", so give it up and stop asking.

Great idea. I was a single working mom. Those were some hard times for both me and my daughter.

I think there should be a National Holiday for everyone. Don't we all count? Besides, we would have more days off.
