Absolutely not, I actually totally agree with you. All these insanely inconciderate and insulting athiests comments are driving me over the edge. I am glad that you feel that way, and I too love God. I stand up for my faith, although my legs are hard to stand on. An anonomous identity helps a little, but it still is hard because the people I am insulting back are real people too, albeit they seem to be real jerkoffs. Nope. I love ya because apparently you are my sister in Christ and Jesus tells us in 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 that LOVE is the greatest of all! God Bless you, keep the faith and the best thing to do is to pray for those that hate you!

No! I love God and I am thankful for everything He has done for me. I have had a very rough year with 3 horrible deaths at my house, a 13 year old and 9 year old pet die, and I watched my mom almost die from a violent seizure. She would have died if I wouldn't have got to her and turned her over becauase she was getting no air. God has been my strength through all of this and has showed me I am a stronger person than I once thought. I thank him every day.

It depends upon what you mean by "stand up for my faith." If you mean you try to impose your faith upon others, then I don't admire you for that. I would oppose you because I think faith is a personal matter and should be a matter of individual conscience. If you mean you are doing your best to live life as well as possible, I would admire that.

May your faith inspire you to great acts of charity, understanding, and kindness.

No. I might hate you if you believe in using the power of the state to force your ideas and morality on those who do not share your beliefs. Those kind of folks all give Christians a bad name.

No I don't, it's your right to believe as you please without being harassed.

But if you believe that Christians are unique in that they are hated because their beliefs, you're very much mistaken. People from all faiths (and non-faiths) are ignorant and bigoted, and despise anything different from their own beliefs. It can even be within the same religion; Catholics vs. Protestants (Northern Ireland), Sunnis vs. Shi'ites (Iraq) etc.

No, I would never hate someone for "what they believe, as long as it is not hurting someone else." However, you must realize that gives you "no right" to attack other peoples belief's and ideas. These are the people I dispise. They bigots who deserve no more respect than they "give those who they attack."

So, if you're looking for Martyrdom, sorry, you won't find it here. Personally, I do think you are "grandstanding" and that God finds that offensive.

I don't hate you, because I love God, and I love you. As Christians, it is expected that we will deal with hate. Just keep our eyes on the prize that awaits us and we should be good.

Personally I don't hate you. I pity you. People like you remind me of that old kid in school that still believed in Santa and no matter what you said to them they still believed.

If you want to believe in fairies or magic pixies, or an invisible magic man that watches over you and is omnipresent. If you want to think that this man is loving and kind, despite documentation in the Bible that He killed over 2 million people intentionally, than that's fine.

My only concern is that you don't use your faith to try and curtail my lifestyle, by campaigning against abortion, shops opening on Sunday, gambling, pre-marital sex etc. As long as your faith is your own private thing then you and I would have no problems.

The only reason I dislike Christians is the fact that most of the ones I have met are hypocrites (most have not read the Bible for example) and they wish to impose their superior moral values upon me and others in society.

Like I said, I don't care what your faith is, I don't care if you want to believe in the flying spaghetti monster, as long as that belief does not translate to you trying to impose your values upon me or society.
