For example, it's 3:07pm now on August 18, 2006. What if in an hour, it were 2:07pm and tomorrow morning August 17, 2006? and next year 2005?

I'm not talking about time travel, but just the time measurement going the other way? I mean why does time have to increase?

Somebody would figure it out.
It is said that after Armageddon the end time destruction of the wicked the time will reverse its self.
Those who died last will rise first. So during the milinnlm rein of Christ. All time will start going back wards and only the good will be resurrected. Instead of filling the earth by having babies we will fill it with resurrected ones. He has waited this long to find enough good people to fill the earth.
It says those who go to heaven and those who gain this earth will be like angels in heaven who do not marry and are not given in marriage. Matthew 20:35
