do we all just get tied up in our work and pursuit of money? what do you do that helps your community or people in general that you don't get paid for? I want to do more for people and am looking for ideas.

If God were real wouldn't he show himself to man? If he expects respect and worship wouldn't he at least acknowledge us for our deeds and speak to us. Most christians go home and pray at night and tend to answer their own questions to satisfy their minds. Why are there so many excuses? If God were real would he speak for himself? Isn't that within the power of the creator or is it that fact that religion only exist because mankind is constantly building and distorting the story about God the perfect being or distorted books written by men and not by himself. Maybe your delusional about calling me evil and saying I'm going to Hell maybe it's you who are in Hell scream for me to help you out of your ignorance...

In my first few lesbian relationships I was much more the receiver/submissive partner. Then after those I seem to switch roles to where I was more the giver/dominant one.....and I seem much more comfortable with that side of my sexuality. I'm curious to know if this is considered normal and how often it happens in the lesbian and gay community.

Religious institutions have been at the base of all societies and forms of civilizations since man first started organizing.....

So, question : does religion solve more problems through the use of organization, and by providing a foundation for life for people who otherwise could not form their own.

OR

Does religion cause more problems because of insane, religious zealots who try to force their way on everyone else? (Like extremists and reactionaries. EG diehard biblethumpers and jihadists are good examples)
