the most effortless way that communities of people separate themselves from others is with language. youthful people have continually carried out this - words like "cool" and "melvin" come to concepts from the distant previous. And shop in concepts interior the early ninety's even as "valley female" talk became prevalent? it truly is all only a demonstration of the circumstances. Why is ebonics the prevalent decision at the moment? As with maximum issues, blame Mtv. finally, for sure it makes them sound uneducated - each and every little thing's grammatically incorrect! BTW, i'm particularly particular it truly is "You BE trippin". "Be" and "Is" are the the purely varieties "to be" that ebonists use.

Only stupid people and winos call AAVE 'ebonics'. AAVE is a distinct dialect of English. If you want to speak it for a day you probably need to spend a year or two learning it first - the same as you would for Scots.
The only people who think you can speak AAVE by speaking English sloppily are people who speak English sloppily anyway.

Ebonics is for people who mumble and don't know how to enunciate. It is not street language and its not cool unless you yearn to be back amongst africans; who by the way hate americans who can't enunciate.
