That is the answer in itself - he wasn't God.
He was a prophet sent by God to teach Torah to the people, yet the established Pahrisees saw him as a threat to their authority, so they had him killed. If he were really god, he would have stopped it all and put things right - but he's not, so he died on that execution stake.

Jesus came to this earth to be crucified - to take the punishment of ALL the sins of the world. That was His purpose of coming.
Not matter how much right a person do can write off the wrong he/she has done. Just like if you broke a traffic offense; can to tell the traffic police that you are a loving father, a caring husband and noble man so that you need not pay the fine? I don't think so; just like a righteous God cannot just write off a wrong.
Someone had to pay the price and God know man CANNOT do it on their own, so He sent Jesus to take all the punishment for ALL man. But man can only be redeemed when they receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Jesus wasn't a god, he was God's Son. He didn't want to save himself from crucifixion because he wanted to give his life for us so that sin could be forgiven by God the Father. It was basically a trade or a deal, in human terms.
And no, the question does not bother me. People have the right to think about their faith, not just be told what to believe.

He wasn't God. Nor was he God's son. Nor was he the Messiah. He was just a very influential historic figure who had a followers then. He also didn't die on the cross, but lived to be about 45 years of age.
The Catholic church took those events and converted four of the books covering the story, known as the books of the new testament, and converted them into law by edict of Constantin 400 years after the events. They chose the four books out of fifty they considered would fit their purposes best.
The entire Catholic church (and all the flavors thereof) are based on lies in order to control the public. Very early on they found out that people are best controlled when fear is indoctrinated into them. Hence the fire and the brimstone. The Bush junta uses the same principles in order to scare people into submission, just they do it on a grander scale such as "attacks" on 10 airliners, crashing planes into buildings and so on.

Adam sin and brought death to all mankind. Almighty God sent his Son Jesus Christ to give his life as a ransom Matthew 20:28/Hebrews 2:9. That is why we have a chance to live forever. Otherwise we are all doom to return from which we came. Genesis 3:19.

You are actually a smart person cuz your asking what is obvious and most of the people didnt wanna ask this because makes'm confuse...But the true my friend is that Jesus is the son of God not God the almighty, they're two different persons...doesn't that sounds more logical now...a lot of people have been told different things about god but mainly that there's a trinity which of course that word is not even in the Bible so go figure..

Come on. The bible is about as real as the easter bunny or santa clause. Looking to patch up gaping holes in the stories in the bible will leave you with more questions than answers.
Take a look at Darwinism if you're really interested where homo sapiens came from :)

He could, but then the sacrifice would never have happened. You are supposed to believe that Jesus wasnt crucified. Your Koran tells you he wasnt. Get your facts straight and stop trying to take the Christ out of Christianity.
