Sometime when I catch the public transport - there are lower class/slobbish people on the buses. The way they talk, behave...I feel so out of place. I feel so much better than them and feel like Im in a dump.

Do you feel like that too?

I am female with a BSc honours degree and I am about to embark upon an MBA masters degree in October.

Majority of people travelling on buses dont even have any qualifications...and you get some awful smelling ones too. They have no manners like 'thank you' when you let them pass..etc

Why not join the church of FSM? FSM loves you (and not in a gay way), plus he is easy going and you don't have to worry about saying the wrong thing and being smiteth for it.

I always ask about respecting humans and I state I am a christian, I seem to get very negative answers sometimes. I always thought believing in Christ was a kind, loving thing. I hear how people think religions are evil and I feel confused. practicing religion is beautiful, abusing people with it is evil. I don't abuse people with it. I have the right to practice it because I live in America- home of the free. I personally don't ram it down anyone's throat. Why does that make people so angry to believe in something? I would appreciate thoughtful answers.

really f*cking high at church.

I don't mean "high" on the Spirit of the Lord. I mean blasted sideways and silly off some Most Holy and Righteous Greenbud.

Was it a good time? Did you snigger? Did you weep? Don't you just trip on all the ladies' hats? It's like one of them black and white movies where everybody is always wearing a hat.

"Lucy, I'm going to the club."
"OK, honey. Don't forget your hat."

And they were nice hats, too. Not just some shitty ball cap with an adjustable plastic strap, but proper hats. All fitted and saved up for.

But now you see hats only in church. How did we ever get this far from Jesus?

But anyway.....

I wonder if we can appreciate something as much if we do not have a sense of what it would be like to lose it. Each day that I live actually requires conscious thought and medication. I think that somehow I am blessed because the knowledge that each day could be my last helps me to appreciate and celebrate each day. Do you appreciate and celebrate each day you draw a breath?
