Valid point but consider this: I don't throw all Muslims in the same boat, but there seems to be very little out cry from the entire community at large over the extremists that in the name of your religion seek to kill the infidels. I know of no person that in the name of Christianity kills other denominations, thinking they are doing Gods will,

The atrocities of the Roman Catholic Church (Crusades, Inquisitions, etc) are no longer a practice, and while not true followers of Christ (evident in that Jesus never approved of such deadly behavior).., the lethal officialized Vatican sanctioned acts are a matter of ancient history.
Islam however has a majority (Middle East) that encourages Crusader like behavior and is a CURRENT thing. In fact while there are individuals who break faith in Christianity to violate the Jesus Covenant..., this is not the same in Islam. Again - the majority of true believers of Islam do what is taught by their book.
It does not matter that some do not agree - the facts speak for themselves. If Islam was born in the Middle East and the majority of Muslims (those in power just like in the days of the Roman Catholic Church Crusades) then the majority in Islam is at work in the violence and is not just the acts or ideals of the few.
THERE ARE Some PEACEFUL Sects of Muslims! No doubt about that - but the majority negate the few. For example..., the violent Muslims should they threaten the peaceful Muslims family if they don't fight for them - they will side with the Violent in a heartbeat.

Why? Because most people blaming Muslims are Christians who know next to nothing about the religion in the first place, and believe that the Islamic creed is what demands these sorts of actions. Most of the people who blame an entire religion for the acts of a few are the sort of people who are afraid of anything different to begin with (especially any different religion), and when someone who participates in that something different does something bad, they assume the 'difference' is the reason.
Sick and sad, but true. Anyone with an intelligent mind doesn't blame an entire religion of people for the acts of some psychos. Anyone who does... well, ignorance runs rampant these days.

READ CAREFULLY: There is only one correct answer to this question...."what happens when you die?" The correct answer is "I don't know." But I have a good IDEA based on FAITH. The mistake is that we turn and idea based on faith into a BELIEF A belief for some is worth killing and dying for. Ideas are not because a level of doubt. Its better to have ideas because they are debatable where beliefs are not. Ideas also instill tolerances, while beliefs create prejudices. We should strive in making religion a personal matter not to be imposed. This is the basis that lead the Europeans out of the Dark Ages into the Renaissance. I would much prefer to live in an era of a Global Renaissance than a modern day era of Crusaders, Martyrs, and Terrorists...Just a thought.

Personally, I have a problem with any religion that holds a vessel over its contents.(Mary over Jesus) Jesus is the word of God made flesh. That means He was God that was among His people. He was the Son of God, because He had to be born and be part of His own creation, to experiance everything man felt. He bled, He cried, He died. Because He was God, He arose to be back with God. It's interesting, but no bible has God recorded in it as speaking during Jesus' time on Earth. That's because Jesus was the word of God! He had to return to where He came from. "In the beginning was the word and the word was God and the word was with God". "Let US make man in our own image".
There are Christians that believe in a trinity. But that would be 3 gods. Totally impossible. Which one would be God Almighty? There is only one God, and He doesn't need any help to be so.
Aren't we ourselves, our spirit, and our word?
But aren't you still you in 1 person? That being said, I am a Christian, Pentacostal, that doesn't believe in any such trinity, and that's after researching all religions.
After researching the Muslim religions, I've noticed the same underlying belief systems. I've noticed that Sharia Law is still practiced today, among some, and I've noticed a disrespect for women among all. I've also researched that Allah is a moon god, and not the Almighty God. The crescent moon and the star as its symbol only solidify that.
But all are told that Allah is just another name for God. Research the name of Allah if you don't believe me. I've researched that the Quran has been changed to lessen the presence of Jesus' purpose on Earth.
Now, while I hope that you all do not believe in the use of human bombs in the name of God, as right, all I can say, is that some of them do. Obviously. And that just does not look good for followers of the Muslim faith. I feel bad for you, but what that group did was wrong and you know it. At least with the Christians, you have the Roman Catholics and the Protestants. I am in one of the varied sects of Protestants, and we don't believe in the teachings of the Catholic religion either. I mean kissing a man's ring, and putting him up there with God? Idol worship? Hail Mary's, The Spanish Inquisition, Nuns and Priests babies killed, Not to mention the priests that are sex offenders. God's not pleased with them either. Does anyone wonder why the natural disasters are becoming more and more frequent? Just like in the days of Noah....

It is the same way with Christianity. When talking about those who do kill in the name of Christ, they don't make the distinction between those who are innocent and those who aren't. Islam is not the only faith that gets treated like that. They all do. Even if it has no truth to it at all.

The people who live by true religion would not kill. By "true religion" I do not mean to imply that there is one of the religions on earth which is true while all the others are false. What I mean is that every religion has truths, and when any of them are followed with a sincere, seeking, devoted heart, they can lead one to truth.
Those who truly follow God would not murder, whether they call themselves Christians, Muslims, Hindus, or whatever. That's my opinion.
